Hello! Today, I’m delighted to be sharing two CAS cards featuring products from the just-released Simon Says Stamp FRIENDLY FROLIC release.
My first card, on which I used a resist technique, showcases the Folk Dance stamp.
- I heat-embossed the Folk Dance stamp with clear powder.
- I applied Distress Inks to the background (from top):
- Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Shabby Shutters, and Broken China.
- I adhered the inked panel to a card base.
- I stamped the Big Thanks sentiment on a white cardstock strip with black ink.
- I die-cut the Big Happy sentiment and applied it to the strip.
- I added the strip to the card.
My second card features the Folk Dance die.
- I die-cut the Folk Dance panel several times to create extra depth and adhered the layers together.
- I painted cardstock with Color Pop paints.
- Once the painted panel was dry, I adhered it to the back of the die-cut panels.
- I adhered the assembly to a card base.
- I stamped the Big Thanks sentiment on a white cardstock strip with black ink.
- I die-cut the Big Happy sentiment and applied it to the strip.
- I adhered the strip to the card.
