Simon Says Stamp Friendly Frolic Release

Hello! Today, I’m delighted to be sharing two CAS cards featuring products from the just-released Simon Says Stamp FRIENDLY FROLIC release.

My first card, on which I used a resist technique, showcases the Folk Dance stamp.

• I heat-embossed the Folk Dance stamp with clear powder.
• I applied Distress Inks to the background (from top):
•  Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Shabby Shutters, and Broken China.
• I adhered the inked panel to a card base.
• I stamped the Big Thanks sentiment on a white cardstock strip with black ink.
• I die-cut the Big Happy sentiment and applied it to the strip.
• I added the strip to the card.

My second card features the Folk Dance die.

• I die-cut the Folk Dance panel several times to create extra depth and adhered the layers together.
• I painted cardstock with Color Pop paints.
• Once the painted panel was dry, I adhered it to the back of the die-cut panels.
• I adhered the assembly to a card base.
• I stamped the Big Thanks sentiment on a white cardstock strip with black ink.
• I die-cut the Big Happy sentiment and applied it to the strip.
• I adhered the strip to the card.
