Hello and happy fall! Today I am sharing a colorful, fall-themed card created with Penny Black supplies from the new Autumn Extraordinaire release.
- I applied Distress Oxide Inks – Crackling Campfire, Carved Pumpkin, Wilted Violet – to Bristol board.
- After the Bristol board dried, I white heat-embossed the pumpkin images from the 30-727 Hello Pumpkin set on to the inked board. I cut the images with the coordinating 51-683 Hello Pumpkin Cut Out die.
- I cut the stems from inked board with dies in the 51-683 Hello Pumpkin Cut Out set, opting not to heat-emboss the stem images.
- I stamped the sentiment with Gathered Twig ink on a panel to which I applied Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink at the bottom.
What I like about this card: I like the autumnal colors and the impact (with minimal effort) that the heat-embossing provides. I also like that the card was created with just one stamp set and its coordinating dies.
