Lawn Fawn – Magical Day

Hello! Today I’m sharing a spring-themed “just because” card created with Lawn Fawn supplies.

Lawn Fawn Fairy Friends

I stamped the images from Lawn Fawn Fairy Friends and colored them with Copics. I placed the colored images, which I cut with their corresponding dies, in a scene created with the Lawn Cuts Meadow Borders and one of the dies in the Lawn Cuts Stitched Hillside Border set onto which I had heat-embossed the sentiment.

Spring Blossoms – Taylored Expressions Feb 2017 Release Day

Hello! Welcome to the Taylored Expressions February 2017 Release! All of the products that we have been sharing this week are now available in the TE store!

Before you head off to shop, I’ve got two more projects to share! My first card combines a wreath created with the Spring Florals set and the Lattice Frame Cutting Plate.

TE Feb 2017 Release

I created a wreath with the Spring Florals set to which I added a few blossoms from the Fresh Florals set. I used Lemon Meringue Enamel Shapes on the centers of many of the blossoms. There is a promotion on both the Spring Florals set and the Lattice Frame Cutting Plate. I have details at the end of this post.

Spring is one of my favorite times of year! And spring showers do bring flowers – I’m looking forward to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival here in the Pacific Northwest. My final card combines a die-cut Blessed Script sentiment with the Rainboot Bouquet image.

TE Feb 2017 Release

I stamped the Rainboot Bouquet image and colored it with Copic markers. I cut the Blessed Script sentiment twice, adhering the pieces together for added depth. The die cut pairs with the So Very Blessed stamp set.

Avery Elle – Oh Happy Day!

Hello! I’m sharing a spring-themed card created with Avery Elle stamps and dies. It’s been cold and wintry here in the Pacific Northwest, so a little spring color appealed to me!

Avery Elle Happy Day

I stamped the various critters from Woodland Wonders and colored them with Copic markers. I used components from the Tree die set to create the tree, which I dry-embossed with a Stampin’ Up embossing folder. I curved the sentiment to fit one of the banner dies in the Pierced Banner Layers set. When I was finished assembling the scene, I felt there was too much blank sky, so I tucked in clouds cut with the Lawn Fawn Simple Puffy Cloud Frames set.

Grumplings On Strike! – Taylored Expressions

Hello! Today, I’m sharing a holiday card featuring the adorable Taylored Expressions Elf Grumplings. Who hasn’t felt like going on strike during this time of year once or twice?

TE Elf Grumplings

I stamped and Copic-colored the elves, adding them to a CAS card design on which I combined patterned paper (from my stash) and packages created with the All Wrapped Up die.
