Lawn Fawn Hello

Hello! Today I am sharing a square “Hello” card featuring Lawn Fawn supplies.

Lawn Fawn Hello

  • I stamped, Copic-colored, and pencil-colored the elephants from the Wild for You stamp set. (I recently shared a card using images from the same set here.)
  • I created a scene with clouds and a grassy border and matted the scene with a scalloped square.
  • I added die-cut flowers cut from SU Watermelon Wonder cardstock (now retired) to coordinate with the patterned paper base.
  • I masked the sentiment stamped on the die-cut cloud.

Lawn Fawn BIG Hello

Sending a BIG Hello from the Pacific Northwest with a card featuring Lawn Fawn products.

Lawn Fawn BIG Hello

  • I stamped, Copic-colored, and pencil-colored critters from the Wild for You stamp set.
  • Masking part of the sentiment, I heat-embossed in yellow the Hello on the rust cardstock, which I die-cut with a stitched rectangle die.
  • I used a circle die to cut the grassy border, adding it to a blue circle.
  • I cut the letters twice for extra dimension, adding them above the heat-embossed hello.
  • I placed a cloud and sun behind the heads of the three animals.

Lawn Fawn Tropical Scene

Hello! Today I am sharing a tropical scene created with Lawn Fawn products.

I combined Copic-colored critters against a beach scene. This scene is probably not realistic in terms of actual habit!

  • The Tropical Backdrop die cuts a frame, as well as pieces for the palm trunks and fronds (cut from SU Cucumber Crush, now retired) which can be applied on top of the frame.
  • I added a sand hill and ocean wave behind the frame and a die-cut sentiment.

Penny Black – A Floral Hello

Hello! Today I am sharing a “Hello” card created with  Penny Black supplies.

Penny Black - A Floral Hello

  • I stamped the 30-704 Wings and Vases image and colored it with Copic markers and colored pencils.
  • I cut the image with its corresponding die set.
  • I cut the 51-611 Creative Curves from white cardstock and backed it with a rectangle.
  • I die-cut the sentiment, using the 51-040 Hello Frame die, three times (for extra dimension) and glued the pieces together.
  • I applied double-sided adhesive to vellum and cut a rectangular strip. With the vase in place on the Creative Curves piece, I adhered the vellum. I then glued the Hello sentiment to the vellum strip.
  • I stamped the light-orange paper with the 40-254 Decadence stamp for the card base.
  • I added the assembly to the card base.
  • I added butterflies, cut with a die in the 51-132 Flights of Fancy set, to the scene for additional interest.
