Reverse Confetti Countdown to Confetti Day Three

It’s Day Three of the Countdown to Confetti at Reverse Confetti! Today, Reverse Confetti introduces My World and the Globe Confetti Cuts.

WorldtoMe

I stamped a sentiment from My World onto a white cardstock panel. With the Globe Confetti Cuts set, I cut the heart out of patterned paper and the globe stand out of brushed silver cardstock, attaching the assembled globe onto the constellation-themed patterned paper. I finished the card off with some baker’s twine.

Reverse Confetti Countdown to Confetti Day Two

It’s Day Two of the Countdown to Confetti at Reverse Confetti! Today, Reverse Confetti introduces You Are a Star and Posted Note Sentiments both with coordinating Confetti Cuts.

BelieveLittleThings

I repeatedly stamped one of the sentiments from Posted Note Sentiments set on a white cardstock base in gray pigment ink. I stamped one of the stars from You Are a Star and cut it with its corresponding Confetti Cuts die. I adhered it, along with smaller stars cut from navy cardstock with the same die set, to the card base with dimensional adhesive.

ColourQ #297

I’m playing along with ColourQ #297 with a CAS card featuring die cut birds in the challenge colors of navy, red and pool.

I cut the birds with the Taylored Expressions Birds and Branch die set (there are four birds in the set, I used three of the bird shapes). I added a sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Hip Notes set, stamped in navy on white cardstock, trimmed with a Spellbinders rectangle die. The sentiment and the birds were adhered to the kraft base with dimensional adhesive.

AEI♥U Challenge #26 – Sparkle

It’s time for another AEI♥U Challenge! This month’s theme is Sparkle!

Here’s my take on the AEI♥U Challenge Sparkle Challenge:

AEJulyChallenge

I created a birthday card for someone turning 50 – if there’s ever a time to bring out the glitter, 50 is it! I die cut the Numbered Balloons out of glitter paper and attached silver May Arts twine to them with tape on the back. I stamped the skyline from the Avery Elle Super set with Versamark ink, heat embossed with American Crafts silver glitter embossing powder, and cut it out with the corresponding die. I stamped the sentiment from Party Animal on the card base. I adhered the balloons with dimensional adhesive, taping down the strings. I placed the skyline over the balloon strings with dimensional adhesive as well.

There’s no limit to how you can interpret sparkle for this challenge!

Check out the inspiration from the rest of the Design Team over on the AEI♥U Challenge Blog!  You’ll also find the InLinkz tool to link up YOUR take on the challenge – we’d love to see your beautiful work in our gallery! There are two $25 Avery Elle Gift Certificates up for grabs for the two best entries!  You have until 12:01 AM on July 27, 2015 to link up your take on the challenge!

Reverse Confetti Birthday Lion

Today I’m sharing a birthday card created with Reverse Confetti stamps and dies.

BirthdayLion

I stamped the lion from Leaping Lions, along with the party hat and presents from Monkey Business with Memento ink and colored the images with Copic markers. I used the corresponding Confetti Cuts to cut them and adhered them to a dry-embossed panel with dimensional adhesive. I heat embossed a sentiment from Fancy Word Coordinates on black cardstock and finished the card with rainbow patterned paper and twine.
