Holiday Pocket Scrapbooking with Reverse Confetti

Today, I’m sharing Pocket Scrapbooking (Project Life) pages created with Reverse Confetti stamps and Confetti Cuts. I used Reverse Confetti stamps and die cuts to create 3″ x 4″ cards and to embellish some of the photos.

For memory keeping, my goal is to complete the project. For me, that means limiting embellishments and picking a color scheme that’s easy to mix and match. I’m using Simple Stories SN@P! photo protector inserts, along with patterned papers from Echo Park’s Christmas Cheer and glitter cardstock. I don’t create daily pages for the month of December, but instead I document key events during the holiday season.

Let’s take a look at the pages.

For the top card, I combined a heat-embossed sentiment from Tinsel ‘N Trim, cut with the Tag Me banner, with a Mini Circle Garland cut from glitter cardstock. I added a glitter star cut with Oh My Stars to the Santa photo and a sentiment from Tinsel ‘N Trim, cut with one of the dies in Class Act, to the lower photo.

For the top card, I combined a heat-embossed sentiment from Tinsel ‘N Trim, cut with one of the dies in Class Act, to a journaling card. The lower-left card includes a heat-embossed sentiment from Seasonal Sentiments, cut with another die in the Class Act set, with Circle Garlands cut from glitter paper. I added a glitter snowflake to the lower-right photo, cut with one of the Let It Snow dies.

Penny Black Simplicity Sister

Happy December! I am thrilled to announce that I am one of the new Simplicity Sisters for Penny Black!! There is a new blog dedicated to using Penny Black stamps and creative dies in a clean and simple way. Head over to SIMPLICITY at its best to meet the rest of the team.

ReindeerCASTo celebrate I created a CAS holiday card in one of my favorite color schemes with the 51-062 Leap of Joy die cut taking center stage. I stamped the background with a sentiment from 30-132 Yuletide Greetings.

Merry Monday Christmas Challenge #136

Today I’m playing along with the Merry Monday Challenge #136 – using the colors red, green and white.

MIMMbirds

For my card, I used the Die-namites Fancy Birdhouses die to cut white, green and red cardstock. I used a Taylored Expressions die to cut the bird. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things.

It’s rainy and dark here in the PNW – this color combination really cheers me up!

MFT Stamps – Warmest Wishes

Today, I’m sharing a card featuring the new Warmest Wishes stamp set from My Favorite Things in a color combination I don’t think I’ve ever used before!

MFTWarmestWishes
I Copic-colored the adorable girl from the set, pairing her with a circle stamped and heat embossed with the Star Background and a sentiment from Cheerful Christmas Greetings. The white panel was cut with the stitched die in the Blueprints 13 set. (One of my most used dies!) In terms of the colors, I found that the green Copics blended well. I first tried using shades of red for her coat, but I was much happier with the results using green. One fun thing about coloring – you can try as many different combinations as you heart desires!
