Lawn Fawn – Summer S’more Scene

Hello! Today, I’m sharing a square, CAS, summer/outdoor-themed card featuring supplies from Lawn Fawn. Summer seems to be marching along quickly!

This took a while to put together. I tried a number of different die-cut scenes for the background (such as the Lawn Fawn Mountain Borders) but in the end, I decided simpler was better.

Lawn Fawn S'more Scene

I stamped the images from the Love You S’more set with the TE Chocolate Truffle ink pad and colored them with Copic markers. I cut the background scene with the Forest Border die and the largest circle in the Large Stitched Circle Stackables set. The sentiment, one of my favorites, is from the Argyle Backdrops set. I cut the stamped sentiment with the smallest die in the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables set. The background, cut with the largest die in the Stitched Square Stackables – Large set, was dry-embossed with one of the folders in the We R Memory Keepers Wood Grain package. The card measures 4 1/2″ square. It’s taken me some time to amass a collection of Lawn Fawn Stackables, but I really like how well they work together and the many different sizes available.

Lawn Fawn – Tropical Hello

Hello! Today, I’m sharing a CAS, tropical-themed card featuring supplies from Lawn Fawn.

The crab and palms were cut with dies in the Palm Trees set. I heat-embossed the sentiment from Hello Baby on a sand dune (I really like the simplicity of the typeface of this sentiment), cut with a die in the Stitched Hillside Border set. I primarily used Stampin’ Up cardstock, although I pulled out Memory Box cardstock for the palm fronds, as the other green cardstock I tried didn’t provide enough punch (I get obsessed with green cardstock shades/tints on a regular basis!). I cut the background with a 4 1/4″ square die from Lil’ Inker Designs.

Lawn Fawn – Happy Mail

Hello and Happy July! Today, I’m sharing a CAS “just because” card featuring supplies from Lawn Fawn.

I had more layers on my design originally (I was planning to heat-emboss the sentiment on a strip of green grass), but decided I was just cluttering up the card (plus I wasn’t using green anywhere else).

Lawn Fawn Narwhal Die Set – Two CAS Cards

Hello! Today, I’m sharing two CAS cards featuring the fun and versatile Lawn Fawn Narwhal and Friends die set.

For my first card, I drew inspiration from the movie poster for The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. In the movie, Bill Murray’s character, Steve Zissou, wears a red beanie hat. I created a beanie-wearing sea lion with the die set and heat-embossed a sentiment from the Mermaid for You set on the die-cut wave.

For my second card, I created an Orca whale with the die set and added a Seattle Skyline (die purchased at Impress) to the background.

I cut the sentiment with the Cole’s ABCs set.

Lawn Fawn Father’s Day Card

Hello! With Father’s Day just a few weeks away (how did it get to be almost June!), I’m sharing a Father’s Day card created with Lawn Fawn stamps and dies.

I created a forest/mountain scene with a trio of Copic-colored critters (not realistic at all!).

Stamping the Dad + Me sentiment on one of the Everyday Sentiment Banners made it easier for me to place the critters than if I had chosen to heat-emboss the sentiment on the forest panel. I used different Copic-combinations of browns for the critters so that they wouldn’t all be colored the same.
