You Bring Sunshine

Hello! Today, I’m sharing a “just because” friendship card combining products from several different manufacturers.

You Bring Sunshine

To begin, I stamped the Simon Says Stamp Choose Joy sentiment on cardstock and inked the My Favorite Things Radiating Rays stencil with  Spiced Marmalade and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide inks above the sentiment.

I cut the panel with one of the dies in Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables set and adhered it to a card base cut from Stampin Up Island Indigo, which I had dry-embossed with the Taylored Expressions Weathered folder.

To create the sand bar, I colored white cardstock with Distress Oxide inks in Antique Linen and Frayed Burlap and cut it with a die in the Marianne Design Tiny’s Lighthouse set. To create the seagull, I colored cardstock with Distress Oxide inks in Spiced Marmalade and Black Soot and cut it with pieces in the Marianne Design Eline’s Seagull & Friends set.

Marianne Design Die-Cut Mice – Spring Version

Hello! Today, I am sharing a spring-themed card featuring the Marianne Design Eline’s Mice Family die set. Back in the fall, I shared a Christmas-themed card featuring the same mice.

I die-cut the mice and assembled them, adding a dress, cut with a die in the Outfits set from an older Pebbles patterned paper pack (also used for the card base), to the Mama Mouse.

I used a sentiment, whose font I especially like and which seemed suitable for the patterned paper, from the Avery Elle Woodland Wonders set.

Be Merry – Die-cut Holiday Mice

Hello! Today, I am sharing a holiday card featuring the Marianne Design Eline’s Mice Family die set.

In addition to the Mice Family die set, I used pieces from the Eline’s Winter Outfits and Eline’s Christmas Decorations sets. (I purchased these Marianne Design die sets from the online store Frantic Stamper.) The sentiment is from the MFT Snow Globe Sentiments set. I used patterned paper from the Doodlebug Designs Here Comes Santa Claus 6×6 paper pad (released last year) for the hat, scarf, tree, and present. I am fond of these critter dies designed by Eline Pellinkhof. I used the Penguin die set on a card a few months ago.

Merry Monday Christmas Challenge – Penguins

Hello. I’m playing along with the Merry Monday Christmas Challenge whose theme this week is Penguins. I created a CAS card showcasing the Marianne Design Penguin die set.

The Marianne Design Penguin die set includes two penguin options. (I purchased my set from 123Stitch. Marianne Design is headquartered in The Netherlands and sells through a few US retailers.)

I created the background scene by partially die-cutting the mountain included the Marianne Design Igloo and Mountain set. I had to hand cut the edges to span the card’s width. I did this as I didn’t want too many layers on the card (I often have two or three snow hills!). The sentiment is from the Hero Arts Let It Snow set.
