Pinspired Challenge #24

If you didn’t read the news on the Pinspired Challenges site, as a team we have decided to close down the Pinspired challenge site at the end of the year.  Challenge #24 is our final challenge. We want to thank everyone who has participated this past year, as well as our sponsors for their generosity and support!

I was inspired by both the snowflake motif and the colors in the Pinterest image for my card.

Pinspired Challenge #23

For my card, I was inspired by the color scheme of bright blue, red and white in the inspiration image, as well as the holiday theme.

I stamped Penny Black’s Crystal Pattern [40-162] background stamp with Bahama Blue ink for my background, onto which I added the die cuts. Yes, this card does look a lot like the tags I shared last week! (I actually had this card made several weeks ago for this challenge.) I’ve gotten a lot of mileage out of those birch die cuts.

Best wishes for a wonderful Thanksgiving to those of you who celebrate the holiday.

I’m sharing a card created with the same design and the same stamp set I used for Pinspired Challenge #22. The Fresh Squeezed subway artwork sentiment stamp has three sentiment sets — one for Halloween, one for Thanksgiving and one for Christmas.

Pinspired Challenge #22

The winner of this challenge will receive a 2.5” Create-a-Sticker from Xyron.

I was inspired by the design of the image. On my card, I combined a Fresh Squeezed subway artwork sentiment stamp with a patterned paper background. After heat embossing the sentiment, I used my finger to smudge the black cardstock with ColorBox white pigment ink to give a chalkboard effect.

I was inspired by both the motif – coffee and sweets – and the colors in the Pinterest image for my card.

I used Technique Tuesday’s “Eat Chocolate” stamp set with a combination of Versamagic inks. While designing the card, I tried incorporating the sentiment on the card front but decided to stamp it inside instead.
