Spellbinders Christmas Gift Tag + Early Bird Sale

Hello! Today I am sharing a personalized holiday gift tag created with Spellbinders supplies and letting you know that the Spellbinders Pre-Black Friday is here!

Die-cut truck elements with the Through the Woods die set from cardstock to which Red Tinsel embossing powder and Rustic Wilderness Glaze has been applied, as well as other cardstocks.
Die-cut tag with Heart to Heart die set. Apply snow through the Layered Christmas Tree stencil and add Sparkle Dust Glitter to the paste. Set aside to dry.
Die-cut letters with Simply Perfect Alphabet dies from cardstock to which Rustic Wilderness Glaze has been applied.
Die-cut snow hill with a Color Block Scenic Scape die from cardstock to which Bridal Tinsel has been applied and cut again with the Heart to Heart tag die set.
Glimmer-foil the Mini Christmas Sentiment Strips sentiment and cut with banner die in the Heart to Heart die set.
Assemble elements, popping the truck up with foam adhesive.

Spellbinders November 2021 Clubs Blog Hop

Hello! I am delighted to be participating in a blog hop sharing CAS slimline holiday cards created with the Spellbinders November 2021 Club Subscriptions. You should have reached me from the blog of Kathy Clement. (The entire list of participants is included at the end of my post.) For the hop, I created quick-to-make cards with this month’s Large Die of the Month kit “Christmas Foliage Strip & Borders.” I previously shared a card created with the same set here.

To celebrate this release, Spellbinders is giving away a $25 gift certificate to 3 lucky blog readers – selected from the comments on the Spellbinders blog. For the first card, I die-cut the floral portion of the Large Die of the Month set three times and adhered the borders to a slimline card base from the same cardstock. I glimmer-foiled the Gifts of Christmas Sentiments sentiment in gold on a darker red cardstock. I die-cut the sentiment with a circle die and added an ornament holder (cut with a die in the Circle Kaleidoscope set).

On the second card, I combined dies in the Large Die of the Month set to cut Snowdrift cardstock. I die-cut a piece of Brushed Gold to back the detailed open area. I die-cut navy cardstock with another die in the set and added that piece to the top. I added the assembly to a Brushed Silver card base. I decorated the card with Santa and reindeer and a sentiment, cut with dies in the Silent Night set, adding a small Gold Gem to the nose of the lead reindeer.

Spellbinders Fluted Classics Collection by Becca Feeken

Hello! Today I am sharing two cards created with products from the just-launched Fluted Classics Collection by Becca Feeken at Spellbinders. My cards use the Circles and Squares sets. There are ovals, slimlines, and rectangles in the collection as well. While I created holiday cards, these designs are timeless and can be used for any number of occasions.

On the first card, I used the Circles and Squares as frames. The sets contain the fluted detail and outline dies for flexibility in how they are used.

I glimmer-foiled the Mini Christmas Sentiment Strips sentiment in Silver on Brushed Gold cardstock.
I cut the circle frame with a die in the Circles set from Brushed Silver and the Squares from Snowdrift cardstock.
I die-cut a snowbank from Snowdrift cardstock, to which I applied Sparkle Dust Glitter, using the Color Block Scenic Scape die.
I die-cut the Chill Bear as the focal point from a variety of cardstocks including cardstock on which I heat-embossed Red Tinsel embossing powder (for the scarf).
I embellished the card with snowflakes cut from Snowdrift cardstock, to which I applied Sparkle Dust Glitter, using dies in the Chill Bear and Holiday Decorations sets.

On the second card, I used the Squares as a frame and as a border to a die in the All Is Calm Word Frame set.

I cut the outside square frame with a die in the Squares set from Snowdrift cardstock. I cut the center piece by using a die in the Squares set with a die in the All Is Calm Word Frame set.
I backed the interior piece with a square cut from Snowdrift cardstock to which I applied Sparkle Dust Glitter.
I die-cut the All Is Calm Word Frame sentiment from Snowdrift cardstock on which I heat-embossed Gold Tinsel powder.
I embellished the card with snowflakes cut from Snowdrift cardstock, to which I applied Sparkle Dust Glitter, using dies in the Silent Night and Holiday Decorations sets.
