Hello! Today, I’m delighted to be sharing three projects as part of a Simon Says Stamp blog hop showcasing products from their GOOD VIBES release. Simon Says Stamp is giving away a $25 coupon to every stop on the hop! The list of stops is included at the end of my post.

My first project features the Hibiscus Frame die with which I created a CAS friendship card in bright tropical colors.

I cut the Hibiscus Frame from 110 lb. white cardstock and trimmed it to 4 1/4″ square (the die cuts the inside but not the outside frame).
For the background, I adhered strips of cardstock – Key Lime, Sea Glass, Tangerine Twist – from the Gina K Add-On pack to a piece of cardstock.
I cut the small piece of the hibiscus from Coral Reef cardstock.
To finish, I heat-embossed a sentiment from the Vacation Time set on Tranquil Teal and added it to the top.

For my next project, I created a CAS summer-themed card showcasing the Jazz Dance stencil.

I applied Deco Foil Transfer Gel through the Jazz Dance stencil on to Turquoise Sea cardstock.
Once dried, I ran the stenciled panel through the Minc with matching Turquoise Sea foil to create a tone-one-tone background.
I used the Summertime die for the sentiment. I cut Key Lime, Tangerine Twist, Coral Reef cardstock (all three included in the Gina K Add-On pack) and Turquoise Sea cardstock with the die and inlaid the letters in a white cardstock frame.

For my final project, I created a friendship card combining a sentiment from Vacation Time with the Big Friend die.

To begin, I added Broken China Distress Oxide ink to a white cardstock panel and stamped the Vacation Time sentiment in Archival ink.
I cut the Big Friend die sentiment from white cardstock and Coral Reef.
I used the Blooming Circle die to cut the floral pieces from Lucky Clover, Sea Glass, Tangerine Twist, and Coral Reef (from the Gina K Add-On pack). I used a negative piece to place the small pieces on the card base.
I used Turquoise Sea cardstock for the card base.

Simon Says Stamp GOOD VIBES Release Day

Hello! Today, I’m delighted to be sharing three projects featuring products from the just-released Simon Says Stamp GOOD VIBES release. This release is serious fun – think beach, summer, bright and happy.

Let’s head to the beach! My first card features the Surf’s Up stamp set.

I created a background with inks (from top): Salty Ocean, Summer Sky, Squeezed Lemonade, Dandelion, Tangelo, and Spiced Marmalade.
I stamped the Surf’s Up beach/sun image in black ink on top of the inked panel. I die-cut a frame from Key Lime cardstock (included in the Gina K Add-On pack). The diameter of the circle die was such that I covered the outside circle of the beach/sun image with the frame.
I stamped and Copic-colored a number of the images in the Surf’s Up set, adding them to the scene along with some clouds cut with the Picture Book Sky die.
To finish off the card, I heat-embossed the sentiment on black cardstock and added it to the frame.

My next project showcases the intricate and elegant Debra die.

I cut the die from white cardstock and cut it to an A2 size (the die cuts the inside design but not the outside edges).
I created a panel to go behind the Debra frame with alcohol inks – Red Pepper and Sunshine Yellow – on Yupo paper.
I heat-embossed a sentiment from the Vacation Time set and adhered it to the card.

My final project showcases several of the big sentiments in the Vacation Time set.

I repeatedly stamped two of the Vacation Time sentiments on white cardstock for the card background.
I added a die-cut Bikini and heat-embossed sentiment (Four Seasons set) to a circle cut from cardstock to match the ink I used to stamp the sentiments.

Taylored Expressions June 2018 Release

Hello! Welcome to the Taylored Expressions June 2018 Release!

For my first project – a 4th of July card – I have combined the just-released Freedom & Fireworks stamp set with several TE die-cut sets.

I stamped and heat-embossed the Freedom & Fireworks images on Watermelon cardstock.
I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment on Sugar Cube cardstock.
I cut the Downtown Border from Blue Corn cardstock and the Underlay from Sugar Cube cardstock.
To finish the scene, I added a die-cut Little Bits – Flag.

I have returned to the Tropical theme for my final project that showcases the Do the Hula Stamp & Die Combo with a watercolored Flirty Florals Background. There is more information about the TE Liquid Watercolors promotion at the end of my post.

I stamped and heat-embossed the Flirty Florals Background and watercolored it with several of the new Liquid Watercolors.
I stamped and heat-embossed the hula girl and colored her with watercolors.
I stamped the Tropical Florals sentiment on vellum which I framed with a die-cut circle, created with the Stitched Frame Stacklets 2 set.

TE June 2018 Release – Sun and Fun

Hello! Welcome to Day 3 of the Taylored Expressions June 2018 Release Sneak Peeks. Today my projects focus on 4th of July and the summer sun. The June 2018 release products I have been sneaking this week will be available tomorrow – Thursday, June 7 @ 7 AM PDT!

One of my color scheme favorites is Red, White, and Blue! I created a 4th of July card which could also be used for a summer birthday.

I stamped and heat-embossed several of the fireworks images in the Freedom & Fireworks set on Watermelon cardstock and cut it with the Land of the Free Die.
I die-cut and heat-embossed cardstock cut with the Happy Script die and adhered the die-cut to Heavyweight Vellum cut with Happy Script Backer – Mixed Media Die; with this release, a number of the word dies now have backers.
I stamped and heat-embossed the birthday sentiment from Peek-a-Boo Birthday on Blue Corn cardstock and cut it with a die in the Double-ended Flag Stacklets die set.
I dry-embossed Sprinkles cardstock with the Lots of Stars embossing folder for the background.
To finish things off, I added a flag cut with the Little Bits – Flag die.

My second project is a CAS friendship card featuring the Sending Script die.

I die-cut and heat-embossed Oreo cardstock cut with the Sending Script die and adhered the die-cut to Cut & Color Me – White Chipboard cut with the Sending Script Backer – Mixed Media Die.
I sponged Lemon Meringue, Pineapple, and Candy Corn inks through the Rise & Shine Stencil on Sugar Cube cardstock. Without removing the stencil, I added Moonstone Nuvo Glimmer Paste on top of the ink.
I inked Sugar Cube cardstock with Lemon Meringue and Pineapple ink, stamped the Sending Sunshine sentiment, and cut the piece with a circle die. I then cut it in half to form a half sun. I attached this piece at the bottom of the stenciled panel.
To finish the card, I added flip flops cut with the Little Bits – Flip Flops die from Oreo cardstock and Sugar Cube cardstock colored with Candy Corn ink.

TE June 2018 Release – Let’s Chill

Hello! Welcome to Day 2 of the Taylored Expressions June 2018 Release Sneak Peeks. I am sharing two CAS summer-themed cards today (both featuring popsicles). Mark your calendar – the June 2018 release products will be available Thursday, June 7 @ 7 AM PDT!

My first project showcases the Chill Out stamp set paired with the Block Party – Popsicles and Little Bits – Frozen Treat dies.

I stamped and heat-embossed the Chill Out sentiment on Blue Raspberry cardstock.
I stamped a die-cut Block Party – Popsicles with the Chill Out stamp in Guava ink on Guava cardstock.
I cut one additional popsicle with the Little Bits – Frozen Treat set (designed to work with the Block Party – Popsicles set) from Guava, Sugar Cube, and Toffee cardstock. I assembled the popsicle.
I used several patterns from the Hello Sunshine 6×6 Paper Pack above and behind the Block Party – Popsicles strip.
I cut a frame with the Frame in Frame Cutting Plate to tie everything together.

My second CAS card combines the new Chill Out stamp set with the previously released Popsicle Stacklets die set.

I cut the popsicles with the Popsicle Stacklets set from Guava, Pineapple (a color introduction with this release), Candy Corn, and Toffee cardstock. I assembled the popsicles.
I stamped the Chill Out sentiment on Sugar Cube cardstock cut with the largest die in the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets set.
I added Salt Water Taffy ink to the panel with the Bubbly stencil.
The card base was covered with one of the patterns in the Hello Sunshine 6×6 Paper Pack.
