TE Jan 2017 Release

I stamped and Copic-colored the llama. There are multiple expressions you can use for this stamp! The sentiment was stamped and cut with the new Stitched Cloud Duo set.

Hello & Wish Big! – Taylored Expressions January 2017 Release

Hello! Welcome to Day One of the Taylored Expressions January Sneak Peeks. Mark your calendar, the January products will be released Thursday, January 12 @ 7 AM PST!

Both of my cards today feature new Stamp & Die Combo sets. Let’s start with a happy and bright “Hello” featuring the Bloomin’ Birthday Stamp & Die Combo.

I paired the stamped flowers and sentiment with a few die cut elements. The stems were stamped directly on the card base. I staggered the stems for visual interest. The Grass Border adds color and texture.

For my second project, I’m sharing a birthday card created with the Wish Big Stamp & Die Combo.

TE Jan 2017 Release

I stamped the balloon strings and the “BiG” part of the sentiment directly on the card base. I cut the stamped balloons with the Party Time die set. The “wish” was stamped and colored with Copic markers, then cut with its companion die. To finish off the card, I added a frame and stars cut from silver cardstock in the Metallic Neutrals pack.

Lawn Fawn – Snow Day

Hello from the cold Pacific Northwest! I’m sharing a CAS winter-themed Valentine created with Lawn Fawn stamps and dies.

Lawn Fawn Snow Day

I stamped and colored the adorable bunnies from Snow Day and paired them with a snowy tree-lined hill cut with the Forest Border die. The background patterned paper from Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Christmas is intended for the Christmas holiday but still works for Valentine’s Day!

PB Simplicity – Let It Snow

Hello! Today I’m sharing a CAS winter card created with Penny Black supplies. Even though these products were intended for holiday card making, I’m enjoying creating winter-themed cards that aren’t specifically Christmas-y.

PB Simplicity Snow Mice

I stamped the sledding mice image from 30-385 Santa’s Helpers on watercolor paper and colored it with watercolor pencils and watercolor paint. For the sentiment, I used the 51-082 Snow Wishes die to cut watercolor paper twice. I trimmed the top part of the sentiment (which says “Let it” away on both die cuts and glued them together for extra depth.

I hope you’ll head over to the Penny Black Simplicity blog where I have another winter-themed card also using the 51-082 Snow Wishes die.
