Essentials by Ellen Holiday II Blog Hop

The giveaway is now closed.

Welcome to the Holiday II Essentials by Ellen Release Hop! I’m showcasing several of the new stamp sets and dies today! My first project showcases the Autumn Acorns stamp set with the just-released Autumn Acorns die set.

CelebrateFallWreath

I colored white cardstock with a variety of Distress Inks. I then stamped the images with Potting Soil ink and cut them with their corresponding dies. I also added a few colored die cut leaves, created with the just-released Gourd Jus die set, along with a die cut sentiment from the Zipper Panel set.

My second project features a heat-embossed sentiment from the Holly Jolly set combined with die cuts from the Poinsettia & Pine set.

MostWonderfulTime

I cut the pine sprigs and berries from watercolor paper colored with Distress Ink Sprays.  To finish off the card, I added some gold sequins.

For my final project, I created a CAS card with the Holly Jolly set (sentiment stamped in Love Letter and pines stamped in Olive Grove) with the adorable Santa and reindeer image from the Santa’s Flight set (stamped in Gray Flannel).

Supplies:

ColourQ #312 with a CAS Reverse Confetti card

I’m playing along with the ColourQ #312 challenge with a CAS Reverse Confetti card.

ColourQHalloweenScene

I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment from the Spooky Sentiments set on orange cardstock. On a white cardstock panel I stamped the fence and bats from Spooky Cuties. For the darker orange, I die cut the tree branches from Branch Out several times and adhered them for extra depth.

CASE This Sketch #144 – Spirit of Christmas

I’m playing along with the CAS(E) this Sketch #144 Challenge.

I love repetition and the Taylored Expressions Little Bits Present die set seemed perfect for this sketch.

JeanManisTECASE144

I cut the presents from both green and red cardstock and topped them with die cut silver foil ribbons. I stamped a sentiment from the Taylored Expressions Deck the Halls set and heat embossed it with Ranger Super Fine Silver Embossing Powder onto the card base. The presents were added with dimensional adhesive.

Reverse Confetti Happy Fall-idays: Thanksgiving

Welcome to the second day of the Reverse Confetti Happy Fall-idays – an event to provide ideas and inspiration for the holidays! Today we’re featuring Thanksgiving projects! There’s a list of everyone sharing ideas today at the end of the post. I created a table setting idea featuring the Pumpkin Patch stamp set.

I stamped the pumpkins, stems, vines and leaves from the Pumpkin Patch stamp set and cut the pieces with their corresponding Confetti Cuts dies.

I embellished the pumpkins with greenery from the Leafy Confetti Cuts set and adhered them to a circle base which I dry-embossed with the Woodgrain Confetti Cuts before cutting with a circle from the Circles ‘n Scallops Confetti Cuts. I added the circle to a scallop, also cut with the Circles ‘n Scallops Confetti Cuts, to create a tag, which I tied onto the napkins with twine.

Reverse Confetti Happy Fall-idays: Halloween

Welcome to the first day of the Reverse Confetti Happy Fall-idays – an event to provide ideas and inspiration for the holidays! Today we’re featuring Halloween projects! At the end of the post I’ve provided a list of everyone from the Reverse Confetti Design Team sharing ideas for Halloween.

My first project features Halloween treat packaging. I’ve created three different tags in orange, green, black and white.

For the tag base, I used the Thanks Tag Confetti Cuts die. I stamped and heat-embossed images and sentiments from Spooky Cuties and Spooky Sentiments.

The tags are tied to tiny cauldrons filled with chocolate eyeballs!

My second project is a Trick or Treat party banner created with one of the Layered Banner Duo Confetti Cuts die.

HalloweenPartyBanner

I created the letters on my computer and cut them out with one of the Circles ‘n Scallops Confetti Cuts. I attached the letters to banners cut from patterned paper with the Layered Banner Duo Confetti Cuts die.

I punched holes on either side of the top of the banners and strung them with chunky twine!
