Hooray for Red, White and Blue – TE Share Joy #39

I’m playing along with Taylored Expressions Share Joy Challenge #39.

TE Share Joy Challenge #39I used the sketch to create a CAS summer-themed card showcasing the Summer Nights patterned paper. (I used this same paper on another project just last week.)

I cut equal-sized strips of three of the paper patterns in the pack. I heat-embossed a sentiment created with the Little Bits of Summer stamp set onto a strip of the same size in Blue Corn cardstock.

To finish, I added the die-cut Little Bits – Flip Flops to the focal circle.

  1. where did you get your patriotic paper card stock? I work at an assisted living facility and we are needing paper for a Veteran’s day gift.
    thanks, Beth

    1. Hi Beth, the paper came from Taylored Expressions, although it’s no longer carried. I suggest trying scrapbook.com or acherryontop.com (who both stock a lot of patterned paper) if you don’t have a local scrapbook store. You might also try Michael’s or Hobby Lobby.

      1. We found something on create for less. My co worker has a cricket and that was the wrong thing to tell me. It should turn out cut for our residents. Thanks again for your help in this gift.
        Beth
