Hello! Today I am sharing a winter-themed card, created with Lawn Fawn supplies, that was inspired by the graphics on a coffee bag. I would not have thought to create a red sky. This card could serve for a number of occasions including Christmas, birthday, or “just because.”
- Create A2-size card base from red cardstock.
- Cut Build-a-Cabin pieces from dark red, gray, Light Brown Woodgrain, Black Licorice, yellow, and white cardstock. Cover back of windows and door with yellow cardstock.
- Cut Stitched Mountain Border from white and light teal-blue cardstock. Add snow to mountain tops.
- Stamp Snowball Fight sentiment in black on white cardstock and cut with the Forest Border die.
- Trim assembled Stitched Mountain Border and Forest Border; add to card base.
- Add assembled Build-a-Cabin to scene with foam adhesive. Embellish with snowflakes cut with Mini Snowflakes dies.
Loving the red sky, fabulously composed card.
The red sky really does look great! I’ll have to try it sometime. Your card is awesome!
How adorable, Jean – love the combo of colors and elements!!
I would have never thought of a red sky either, but I love it! Very cute card.
