Hello! Today, I’m sharing a summer-themed card that captures the essence of tropical paradise. Featuring two pineapples adorned with hibiscus flowers, this card radiates happiness with its vibrant colors. The cheerful sentiment “aloha” adds the perfect touch.
-
- Cover A2-size card base with patterned paper. You can read more about background options in this post.
- Cut the Polaroid frame from white cardstock with the Say Cheese, Again die. I used this die on a nautical-themed card HERE.
- Stamp the Lawn Fawn Aloha sentiment on to the frame with black ink. The stamp set is available at Frantic Stamper.
- Add patterned paper to the back of the frame and add frame to card front.
- Color white cardstock with a variety of Distress inks. Cut the cardstock with the Playful Pineapple die set to create the pineapples and flowers. I used the inlay technique. The Playful Pineapple set creates a pineapple with eyes and mouth; the set also includes dies so that those elements can be eliminated.
- Add pineapples and flowers to the card with dot and foam adhesive.
Darling pair of pineapples, Jean! Just love them with that patterned paper, the polaroid, and sweet trio of flowers!!
Been on a vacay to Ohio to see the folks. So catching up. Have loved seeing your posts. Such fun summery cards.
A great mix of colors! The patterned paper is the perfect back drop! Love it all.
The patterned paper really compliments the pineapples. I love the bright colours!
