Hello! Today, I am sharing a summer-themed, mini-slimline card created with Rubbernecker dies and stamp set. There are a number of occasions for which this card would work.
Create focal elements
- Die-cut Beach Chairs and Macrame Planters from white and colored cardstock. (I am fond of Adirondack chairs and have used them as a focal element on many cards!)
- Glue pots to rope hangers.
Create frame, sentiment, and background
- Die-cut the Mini Slimline Tabbed Scallop Stitch frame from white cardstock.
- Stamp and heat-emboss the Just Saying Hello Floral sentiment on green cardstock. Cut with the Slimline Grass Die.
- Trim grass panel as necessary and secure to the back of the frame.
- Cut Peak Fence #4 from white cardstock. Secure to the back of the frame.
- Tape tops of Macrame Planters to back of the frame.
- Attach patterned paper background to mini-slimline base. Add to frame assembly.
Assemble and Embellish
- Add Beach Chairs with foam adhesive.
- Cut flowers and foliage with Small Flowers #4, Tiny Flowers #2, and Leaves and Greenery dies.
- Add Nuvo drops to flower centers. Set aside to dry.
- Add flowers and foliage to Macrame Planters.
- Add Small Butterflies in upper-left corner.
I would love to be sitting in those chairs! What a cute card. Love that die that cuts all those flowers with one cut!
That’s a sweet gathering spot, Jean. Hello summer.
