Essentials by Ellen Holiday II Blog Hop

The giveaway is now closed.

Welcome to the Holiday II Essentials by Ellen Release Hop! I’m showcasing several of the new stamp sets and dies today! My first project showcases the Autumn Acorns stamp set with the just-released Autumn Acorns die set.

CelebrateFallWreath

I colored white cardstock with a variety of Distress Inks. I then stamped the images with Potting Soil ink and cut them with their corresponding dies. I also added a few colored die cut leaves, created with the just-released Gourd Jus die set, along with a die cut sentiment from the Zipper Panel set.

My second project features a heat-embossed sentiment from the Holly Jolly set combined with die cuts from the Poinsettia & Pine set.

MostWonderfulTime

I cut the pine sprigs and berries from watercolor paper colored with Distress Ink Sprays.  To finish off the card, I added some gold sequins.

For my final project, I created a CAS card with the Holly Jolly set (sentiment stamped in Love Letter and pines stamped in Olive Grove) with the adorable Santa and reindeer image from the Santa’s Flight set (stamped in Gray Flannel).

September Release Reverse Confetti Blog Hop

The wait is over! REVERSE CONFETTI has just released SIX stamp sets, EIGHT Confetti Cuts and “Fall Fun” Quick Card Panels. The hop began on the Reverse Confetti blog, and you should have made it here from Lisa’s blog. It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using all the new Reverse Confetti stamp sets and dies! I’m sharing two CAS cards combining die cuts and stamps.

For my first card, I used the Double Scallop Garland Confetti Cuts with a sentiment from Spooky Sentiments.

CASHalloweenDblGarland

I cut black cardstock with the open scallop garland and colored cardstock with the closed garland, attaching them together with Ranger Matte Medium glue. I added them in a whimsical manner to the card base, which had been stamped with a Halloween sentiment.

For my second project, I die cut the Thanks from the Thanks Tag Confetti Cuts in four shades of yellow/orange. I also cut the Thanks in white as well and attached the colored cardstock die cuts to the white ones for additional dimension. I stamped a white cardstock panel with a sentiment from the Fancy Word Coordinates set.

Reverse Confetti August Creative Blog Hop

Welcome! This month’s creative hop focusing on Summer Fun started on the Reverse Confetti blog. You should have made it here from Lisa’s blog. It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you!

I’m sharing two summer vacation-themed scrapbook layouts for which I created embellishments using Reverse Confetti stamps and dies. My first layout (letter-sized) chronicles a family vacation on Martha’s Vineyard.

I stamped the journaling with one of the word/phrases from Here’s the Story. I heat-embossed another Here’s the Story phrase on black cardstock and cut it with the banner die in the Tag Me Confetti Cuts set. Its anchored with a die cut from the Documented Confetti Cuts set.

To the right-hand corner, I added a banner cut with the Double Banner Garland Confetti Cuts. The sentiment from Posted Note Sentiments was heat-embossed on red cardstock and cut with the circle die in the Donut You Know Confetti Cuts set. To finish, I added stars cut with the You Are A Star Confetti Cuts set and a red border cut with the Double Edge Scallop Border Confetti Cuts.

The focus of my second layout (letter-sized) is a family vacation on Maui. The Pineapples Aplenty stamp set, with its coordinating Confetti Cuts set, worked perfectly for a visual accent with the journaling.

Reverse Confetti Blog Hop

The wait is over! REVERSE CONFETTI has just released FIVE stamp sets, SIX Confetti Cuts and “Weather or Dot {and Stripes}” Quick Card Panels.

The hop started on the Reverse Confetti blog, and you should have made it here from Lisa’s blog. It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using all the new Reverse Confetti stamp sets and dies!

GreatDay

My CAS project highlights the just released Posted Note Confetti Cuts set with a sentiment from Posted Note Sentiments. I die cut the note stand out of three colors of cardstock (choosing colors to match the Quick Card Panel I used to ground the stand). I stamped the sentiment on white cardstock that I cut with a rectangle die. The sentiments from Posted Note Sentiments look just as if they were penned by hand – so fun and versatile!

Reverse Confetti June Creative Blog Hop

Welcome! This month’s creative hop started on the Reverse Confetti blog, and you should have made it here from Lisa’s blog. It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you!

I’m sharing a gift/treat packaging idea for Father’s Day created with Reverse Confetti stamps and dies.

The packaging base was created with Tagged Tote Confetti Cuts to which I added clouds (Sun ‘n Clouds Confetti Cuts) and the airplane and propeller from Here We Go Confetti Cuts.

June8Masculine2

I added a tag die cut with the Folded Tag Confetti Cuts set. For the tag front, I stamped a sentiment from Fancy Word Coordinates repeatedly (first and second generation). I cut the stamping out at an angle and added the “DAD” stickers.
