Rubbernecker – Cabin in the Woods

Hello! Today I am sharing a Christmas, winter-themed card created with Rubbernecker supplies (many of these products are now available at Brass and Bliss as Rubbernecker rebranded).

I heat-embossed the Snowmen with Presents sentiment in white on dark blue cardstock. After masking the sentiment, I added white embossing paste through a Carta Bella snow stencil and set the panel aside to dry.
I die-cut the Pine Tree Forest and Deckle Frame from white cardstock.
I trimmed the Pine Tree Forest to fit behind the Deckle Frame. Once the stenciled background was dry, I adhered the forest and frame to the background.
I added the assembly to a light gray card base.
I die-cut the Cabin from a variety of cardstock colors and assembled the pieces. The small trees, snow on the chimney, and roof were cut from Doodlebug Lily White glitter cardstock. I added the assembled cabin and trees to the scene with foam adhesive.

Penny Back – Snowfall and Serenity

Hello! Today I am sharing a quick-to-make Christmas card created with Penny Black supplies from the Home for Christmas release. I chose colors to coordinate with the 50-001 Pinecones and Peace panel.

For card base, stamp 30-852 Fresh Snow sentiment in brown ink on light green cardstock.
Add 50-001 Pinecones and Peace panel to card base (trimmed), with a brown cardstock panel underneath.
Add die-cut 51-708 Dancing Snowflakes with glue and 51-707 Harmony with Nature deer with foam adhesive.

Rubbernecker Halloween Gnomes

Hello! Today, I am sharing a Halloween card featuring the Gnome Couple die set at Rubbernecker.

I die-cut the Gnome Couple from colored cardstock and assembled the pieces.
I die-cut the Window 4-Pane and cut a panel of soft yellow cardstock with which to back the window.
I stamped the Reverse Confetti Spooktacular greeting on to a panel and added a strip of gray cardstock to the bottom.
I added the female gnome to the yellow cardstock and adhered the window frame to the panel with foam adhesive. I adhered the window to the card base.
I added the mail gnome to the card base with foam adhesive.

Tim Holtz Cozy Winter

Hello! I am sharing a CAS Christmas card created with Tim Holtz supplies. With the Cozy Winter bear, it was love at first sight!

I added white embossing paste through the Tree Lot stencil on to SSS Sea Glass cardstock.
I die-cut the Cozy Winter bear from SU Kraft, white, light pink, red, and black cardstock and colored the arms and base with Vintage Photo ink. I glued the pieces together.
I heat-embossed the Simple Sayings sentiment on to red cardstock and cut it with a banner die.
I added the bear and sentiment to the Tree Lot background.

This card combines my favorite cardmaking techniques of stenciling, die-cutting, and heat-embossing, as well as, a favorite color combination of red, light blue, and white.

Penny Black Autumn – CAS Pumpkins

Hello! Today, I am sharing a CAS card created with two Penny Black stamp sets from the Autumn 2021 release.

I stamped the 30-862 Pumpkin and Polka Dots images in a variety of ink colors and fussy-cut them.
I stamped the 30-863 Autumn is Calling sentiment in brown ink on off-white cardstock, which I cut with a stitched rectangle die.
I added the sentiment panel to a dry-embossed, rust-colored cardstock base.
I added the pumpkins to the panel, popping up the front one with foam adhesive.
