Lawn Fawn Die-Cut Holiday Mailbox

Hello! Today, I’m sharing a CAS holiday card showcasing the Lawn Fawn Happy Mail mailbox decorated with the Mini Wreath.

Lawn Fawn Die-Cut Holiday Mailbox

Back in July, I created a warm-weather version with the mailbox and couldn’t resist dressing it for the holidays! I was delighted to find that the Mini Wreath fit.

I used Memory Box paper for the envelope/bow, the solid blue background, and the mailbox, along with patterned paper from an older Lawn Fawn pad for the card base and the wreath. I stamped the die-cut envelope with an image in the Love Letters set.

Supplies: Lawn Fawn Happy Mail die set, Lawn Fawn Mini Wreath die set, Lawn Fawn Love Letters stamp and coordinating die set, Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Border die set, Lawn Fawn Simple Puffy Cloud Frames die set, Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables die set, Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables die set, Lawn Fawn Mini Snowflakes dies

Taylored Expressions – Talk Turkey

Hello! Today, I am sharing a card showcasing Taylored Expressions products including the Little Bits – Turkey. I just couldn’t resist featuring him on a Thanksgiving card!

Taylored Expressions - Talk Turkey

To begin, I created the tone-on-tone background with the Autumn Leaves Background stamp. Next, I die-cut and assembled the Little Bits – Turkey. I stamped the Thanksgiving Blessings sentiment on a Sugar Cube cardstock panel on to which I had added the Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink with a Clarity Stencil Brush. I added the die-cut Arbor Fence and Little Bits – Leaves for texture and color.

Merry Monday Challenge – CAS Ornament

Hello! Today, I am sharing a CAS holiday card featuring two Impression Obsession dies and a heat-embossed sentiment from the Essentials by Ellen Holly Jolly stamp set for the Merry Monday Christmas Challenge #261 – Use an Ornament.

CAS Impression Obsession Ornament

I heat-embossed the Holly Jolly sentiment on Stampin’ Up Real Red cardstock and cut it with the Impression Obsession Round Ornament die. I cut the branch with the Impression Obsession Pine Branch die from green cardstock and the additional ornament pieces from silver foil.

I assembled the pieces on a background cut from Stampin’ Up patterned paper (no longer available), which provides a neutral, holiday-themed base.

TE Ghost Town Border – Christmas Edition

Hello! Today, I am showing how to use the Taylored Expressions Ghost Town Border on a Christmas card!

The spookiest building in the border is on the right-hand side – you can see it on this Halloween card. To eliminate that building from my card, I created a vertical card and simply cut it out of the picture!

I cut the Ghost Town Border out of Sugar Cube cardstock and backed the windows with Cherry Pop and Lemon Meringue cardstock. I heat-embossed the sentiment from the Ornamental set on Blue Corn cardstock. I used the Do You Wanna Build a Snowman? die to create the scene in the foreground of the girls making a snowman. I also added a hill cut with a die in the Build a Scene – Rolling Hills set and snowflakes cut with the Little Bits – Snowflake Confetti set to reinforce the winter/Christmas theme.

I added the die-cut angel to a background on which I applied Distress Ink with a Clarity Stencil Brush and heat-embossed a sentiment in the Rejoice stamp set. I stamped the poinsettia and blooms, from the Holiday Florals set, cut them with their corresponding dies, and added them to the corner. The card base was dry-embossed with the Peaceful Poinsettia folder.

Taylored Expressions October 2017 Release

I applied a variety of Distress Inks to cardstock from which I cut out the Build a Scene – Nativity images. I added the scene to a background on which I applied Distress Ink with a Clarity Stencil Brush and heat-embossed a sentiment in the Rejoice stamp set. Certain images, such as the Virgin Mary, star, and angel, were adhered with foam adhesive.
