Clean + Simple Card Making 2 Day Two

Today’s Online Card Classes Clean & Simple Card Making 2 lesson is all about single-layer cards.  My card is a variation of one shared in class by Julie Ebersole. I didn’t have all of the supplies that she did, so simplified the card a bit! Now I’m going to go back and make another card from yesterday’s lesson! Love the inspiration from this class.

Clean + Simple Card Making 2 Day One

Today is the first day of the Online Card Classes Clean & Simple Card Making 2. I took round one last winter and learned so much – CAS cardmaking is so challenging but so rewarding.

My card is a variation of one shared in class by Julie Ebersole. I’ve been wanting to give this Impression Obsession background stamp a try.

Pinspired Challenge #2

It’s time for the second Pinspired Challenge. The inspirational photo is for you to interpret anyway you want. You can take from the colors, the style, the theme – it’s up to you!

This challenge is sponsored by Neat and Tangled Stamps; Danielle is generously offering the winner one stamp set of their choice.

Here’s my take on the challenge image. I couldn’t resist using the elf girl from “Elves at Work.” She got a new outfit for winter, now that’s it’s no longer the holidays ;-), and is ready to play in the snow! I wanted to capture the winter theme, the colors, and the mittens in the inspiration image.

Challenge2-JM

Head on over to the Pinspired Challenges blog to see the creations from the rest of the “Pin Heads” and find out the details for playing along. Three runner ups will be chosen and win a “Pin Pal” badge for their blog.
