Cardmaking and Scrapbooking with Jean Manis
I’m over on the Neat & Tangled blog today sharing a CAS holiday card using stamps from the September release. I hope you’ll head on over to take a look!

Today is the first day of the new Online Card Classes Insider course. There were fabulous card ideas shared in today’s class. Talk about good value for your money – the Online Card Classes can’t be beat!
I used the card shared by Amber Kemp-Gerstel as my starting point and adapted it with an idea of Julie Ebersole‘s from the Clean and Simple 2 class!

The card front was inspired by a card of Julie’s that uses two skylines – Hero Arts Newspaper Skyline Background stamp and Savvy Stamps Cityscape stamp. I finished it off with a sentiment from Hero Arts Large Word Tags.

The card inside was first stamped with a sentiment from Hero Arts Naughty or Nice and then with the Hero Arts Snow Dots background stamp. I simply put a sticky note over the sentiment before stamping with the background.
Now I’m off to clean off the kitchen table – it’s a mess!
Fall is definitely upon us here in the Pacific Northwest with cooler temperatures and rain. I’m celebrating the change of seasons with some Pumpkin Spice cupcakes adorned with toppers, which I crafted using one of the adorable stamps from the Penny Black Halloween release — Halloween Critters set (#30-185).

I think these toppers could work equally well for a fall birthday or Halloween party. The image was stamped with Versafine ink and clear embossed. I colored the owls with Copics in seasonal colors. The owl images were then cut with a circle die and adhered to scallop circle die-cuts. I taped a bamboo stick to one of the scallops and adhered it to the other scallop with a thin dimensional square.
Welcome! It’s time for another Pinspired Challenge. The photo is for you to interpret anyway you want. Be inspired by the colors, the style, the theme – it’s up to you!
This challenge is sponsored by Pink Hippo Stamps who will be awarding the winner with the Witchy Woman stamp set. For inspiration, be sure to check out the Pink Hippo blog.
I was inspired by the both the theme and the colors in the Pinterest image. I stamped the Avery Elle Funky Monkey in three bright colors.

Now, it’s your turn. Head on over to the Pinspired Challenges blog to see the creations from the rest of the “Pin Heads” and find out the details for playing along. Three runner ups will be chosen and win a “Pin Pal” badge for their blog. The winner will win a “Pin Perfect” badge for their blog along with the prize from Pink Hippo Stamps. We can’t wait to see your creations!
Happy Monday! I’m over at Ellen Hutson’s CLASSroom today sharing a Halloween-themed card crafted with Memory Box die cuts.
