Merry Monday Christmas Challenge – Penguins

Hello. I’m playing along with the Merry Monday Christmas Challenge whose theme this week is Penguins. I created a CAS card showcasing the Marianne Design Penguin die set.

The Marianne Design Penguin die set includes two penguin options. (I purchased my set from 123Stitch. Marianne Design is headquartered in The Netherlands and sells through a few US retailers.)

I created the background scene by partially die-cutting the mountain included the Marianne Design Igloo and Mountain set. I had to hand cut the edges to span the card’s width. I did this as I didn’t want too many layers on the card (I often have two or three snow hills!). The sentiment is from the Hero Arts Let It Snow set.

Taylored Expressions – Happy Halloween Owl

Hello! Today, I’m sharing a CAS Halloween-themed card created with Taylored Expressions products.

To create the background, I applied Distress Oxide inks – Broken China, Fossilized Amber and Spiced Marmalade – and then stamped the sentiment from the Simply Said – Halloween set. I added the Little Bits – Witch Hat to the Little Bits – Owl which I placed on a branch cut with the On a Limb – Branches set decorated with On a Limb – Leaves.

Lawn Fawn – Meow You Doin’?

Hello! Today, I’m sharing a CAS friendship card featuring the Lawn Fawn Meow You Doin’ stamp set. (I previously shared a card with this set in this post.)

I stamped the images in VersaFine on Arches Cold Press watercolor paper and colored them with watercolor pencils. I heat-embossed the sentiment on dark gray cardstock cut with the largest die in the Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle Stackables set.

The background is dry-embossed with a Taylored Expressions folder.

Taylored Expressions – Give Thanks

Hello! Today, I’m sharing a CAS and colorful, fall-themed card showcasing the Taylored Expressions Iconic Wishes – Fall Stamp & Die Combo set.

I stamped the leaf on Sugar Cube cardstock with Distress Oxide Fired Brick ink. I cut the frame from Mocha cardstock with a die in the Stitched Frame Stacklets 1 set. To add color, I used Playful Patterns – Harvest patterned paper card base and Harvest Sequins.

Lawn Fawn – Deck the Halls

Hello! Today, I am sharing a CAS holiday card featuring Lawn Fawn supplies, both new and old.

I cut the Lawn Fawn Mini Wreath twice from Stampin’ Up cardstock. I heat-embossed the rectangular panel (cut from the same green cardstock) with a favorite sentiment from the Deck the Halls set. The window was cut with the Lawn Fawn Wonderful Window set. The card base is dry-embossed with a TE Brick embossing folder.
