I’m over on the Penny Black Simplicity blog today with a card showcasing the Penny Black Creative Die 51-154 Prestige. I hope you’ll go take a look.

Reverse Confetti is teaming up with Tracey McNeely’s 25 Days of Christmas Tags Event.

For both tags, I used the Thanks Tag Confetti Cuts die as the base to which I added a tag reinforcement cut from silver cardstock with one of the Hang Ups dies. Both tags feature a white, silver, aqua and red color scheme.

For the first tag, I cut a tree and branches with Branch Out and added a sentiment cut with Winter Words. I used the banner die in Tag Me as a visual anchor.

For the second tag, I cut snowflakes with the Layered Snowflake die set and a sentiment with Winter Words.

I’m playing along at the Merry Monday #180 Challenge with another reindeer card. Turns out, I have a lot of reindeer-themed supplies!
I used Bo Bunny Sugar Glitter embossing paste with the Hero Arts Merry Christmas Reindeer stencil. I allowed the red cardstock panel to dry overnight (the product seems to take longer to dry than other embossing pastes I’ve used before) and then added a heat-embossed sentiment from the Hero Arts Family and Friends stamp set. I used a Taylored Expressions stitched banner die to cut the sentiment. Other than the drying time, this CAS card came together quickly.
I’m playing along at the Merry Monday #180 Challenge with a reindeer card!
I colored Distress Ink watercolor paper with three shades of Zig Clean Color Brushes (for am ombré effect) and cut the paper with the Penny Black 51-147 a very merry die. I also used the die to cut white cardstock and attached the two die cuts with liquid adhesive. The reindeer (from the 40-258 dancing deers set) was stamped with red pigment ink. I added patterned paper from 80-012 wintertime to a square card base and finished the card off with twine.

Have you seen this month’s Sketch for You to Try at Reverse Confetti?
I created a CAS holiday card in non-traditional colors using the sketch as my starting point.
For the background, I cut garlands from brushed silver cardstock with the Circle Garland Confetti Cuts set and adhered them to a white cardstock base. I embellished the circles with a snowflake cut with the Let It Snow Confetti Cuts set and with a tree and branches from Branch Out. I heat-embossed a sentiment from Seasonal Sentiments on a teal blue cardstock strip. I attached the circles to the card base with dimensional adhesive.

I hope you’ll play along! Head on over to link up your card on the Reverse Confetti Blog for your chance to win a $20 Reverse Confetti gift certificate and the title of ‘Fetti Fave!
