Reverse Confetti Countdown to Confetti Day Two

It’s Day Two of the Countdown to Confetti at Reverse Confetti! Today, Reverse Confetti introduces You Are a Star and Posted Note Sentiments both with coordinating Confetti Cuts.

BelieveLittleThings

I repeatedly stamped one of the sentiments from Posted Note Sentiments set on a white cardstock base in gray pigment ink. I stamped one of the stars from You Are a Star and cut it with its corresponding Confetti Cuts die. I adhered it, along with smaller stars cut from navy cardstock with the same die set, to the card base with dimensional adhesive.

There are two $15 gift certificates up for grabs – one for blog commenters and one for Facebook commenters. Increase your chance of winning by leaving a comment on each sneak peek post for each designer. Comments will close at noon CST on July 7th and the winner will be announced at 5pm on July 7th on the Reverse Confetti blog and FB page.

CAS Sea Life Hello

Today I’m sharing a CAS one-layer card featuring the MFT Sea Life stamp set.

MFTHelloFishes

I stamped the underwater images with pigment inks in tropical colors on heavyweight white cardstock. I wanted the fish coming from the right-hand side to stand out, so I stamped that fish with the orange ink. Hope you’re staying cool – we’re having in a heat wave here in the Pacific Northwest!

Supplies:

ColourQ #297

I’m playing along with ColourQ #297 with a CAS card featuring die cut birds in the challenge colors of navy, red and pool.

I cut the birds with the Taylored Expressions Birds and Branch die set (there are four birds in the set, I used three of the bird shapes). I added a sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Hip Notes set, stamped in navy on white cardstock, trimmed with a Spellbinders rectangle die. The sentiment and the birds were adhered to the kraft base with dimensional adhesive.

Fourth of July “Just Because”

Today, I’m sharing a CAS “just because” card crafted with Taylored Expressions die cuts in Fourth of July colors.

RWBHouses

I created the houses with the Build A House die set and stamped a Stampin’ Up sentiment in pigment ink on the heavyweight white cardstock base. Red, white and blue is my favorite summer color combination!

Pacific Northwest Beach Scene

Today I’m sharing a CAS “just because” card inspired by the Pacific Northwest summer. There’s nothing like a sunny day on the Puget Sound!

PugetSoundScene

The sentiment is from the Hero Arts Good Friends set (I’ve had this set for several years and really like the typeface of the sentiments). I first stamped it in black ink, but that seemed too harsh with the other colors, so I stamped it in white pigment ink. After I finished the card, I thought it needed a little something, so I added some May Arts twine to soften the bottom of the image.
