Lawn Fawn – Let It Snow Tag

Hello and Happy Monday. We’re in the final countdown to Christmas, and I’m sharing a holiday tag created with Lawn Fawn stamps and dies.

Lawn Fawn Christmas Tag

This tag would be easy to make in bulk using the same design with the Stitched Mountain Borders and Stitched Circle Tags varying the critters from Toboggan Together and other sets (I really appreciate how well the Lawn Fawn critters work together!). I added texture to the tag with a Simon Says Stamp snowflake stencil.

Santa’s Helpers Reporting for Duty! – Taylored Expressions

Hello. Today, I’m sharing a Christmas card featuring Taylored Expressions Santa’s Helpers.

TE Santa's Helpers

I followed a tutorial by Michele Boyer on the Taylored Expressions blog to Copic-color these cute images. Once I had Santa’s helpers colored, I created the rest of the holiday scene with Dashing Through the SnowJolly Old St. Nick (I used only part of the die-cut),  Build a Scene – Rolling Hills and a heat-embossed sentiment from In & Out Christmas.

Here Comes Santa Paws

Hello! Today, I’m sharing a card showcasing the Lawn Fawn Happy Howlidays stamp set, which was a Simon Says Stamp set for their Stamptember event. I paired the Copic-colored dogs with two Lawn Fawn die sets.

I cut the Little Town Border from white cardstock and backed the openings with yellow cardstock. I cut the Stitched Mountain Borders from the Earl Grey cardstock. I used a Simon Says Stamp stencil to create the snowflakes. It took me a few minutes to gather my embossing paste and related supplies, but I’m glad I did, as the background needed some texture (and I plan to do more stenciling this season).

Have a Sunny Day!

Hello. Welcome to the Taylored Expressions November 2016 Release! All of the products that we have been sharing this week are now available in the TE store!

Before you head off to shop, I’m sharing a card created with the new Flowers for a Year stamps and Flowers for a Year Dies.

I stamped and Copic-colored the floral images and cut them with their corresponding dies. While the Flowers for a Year images are designed to coordinate with the just released Build a Scene – Calendar 2 die set, I decided to pair several bouquets with one of the Picture Perfect – Sunny Days frames.

Make 2017 Fun! – TE Build a Scene Calendar

Hello (and Happy Halloween)! Welcome to Day One of the Taylored Expressions November Sneak Peeks. With the winter holidays just around the corner, this month’s release features products designed for creating handmade gifts! The November products will be released Thursday, November 3 @ 7 AM PST!

Today, I’m sharing several themed pages from my 2017 5″ x 7″ calendar, as well as gifting and display options for the pages. By personalizing a calendar, I can create cheerful and meaningful scenes to mark the days in 2017!

TE November 2016 Release

I used the Build a Scene – Calendar – 5×7 die set along with the 2017 5×7 Calendar to create the pages.

For January, I added Copic-colored Critters on Ice to the scene. Just because the winter holidays are over doesn’t mean that the snow and ice are gone! I wanted January to be cheerful! The ice? That’s an oval from this release’s Build a Scene – Calendar 2 die set.

For February, I featured the Crafty Grumplings. I imagined my sons working on their handmade Valentine’s Day cards (possibly making a bit of a mess), and at the same time, cabin fever setting in for everyone involved.

For March, I featured Copic-colored cows created with the If Cows Could Talk Stamp & Die Combo. It’s my oldest son’s birthday in March and this trio of cows is so much fun.
