Penny Black – Christmas Ornaments

Hello! Today I am sharing a CAS holiday card created with Penny Black die sets.

With the 51-659 Beautified Baubles set, I cut the two ornaments. The set includes overlay dies; I used the circle die in the set alone.
I cut the snowflake strip with the 51-671 Cozy die.
I added the Cozy strip to a card base covered with patterned paper.
I adhered the assembled ornaments to the strip.
I adhered the sentiment cut with the 51-698 Frozen Vista Cut Out to the top.

Penny Black Winter Greetings

Hello! Today I am sharing a CAS seasonal card created with Penny Black supplies. I wanted to create a card that celebrated the beauty of the winter months.

I die-cut the polar bears with the 51-668 Festive Family set from white flock.
I die-cut the snow bank with the same set and added it to a navy cardstock panel, on which I had stamped the 30-731 Christmas Moments sentiment in white pigment ink.
To fill the sky, I added snowflakes cut with the 51-268 A Blizzard, 51-080 Around Town, and 51-066 Crystal Trio sets.
I added the polar bears with foam adhesive.
I added the panel to a patterned paper card base for additional visual interest.

Hello! Today I am sharing a CAS Christmas card created with Penny Black products. The thing to remember with CAS cards – they look simple, but in fact, often take more time than less-simple cards. This card is a case in point; stamping the trees took a fair amount of time.

I stamped the tree image in the 30-747 Ornamented stamp set in green and red pigment inks. I dried the trees in between stamping as I have had pigment ink smear.
I cut the panel to 4 1/2″ square.
I die-cut the 51-664 Mirthful letters from white and red cardstock. I filled the open spaces of the white letters with red cardstock and adhered them to the red letters to create a drop-shadow effect.
I added the letters to the center of the stamped panel.

Hello! Today, I am sharing another holiday card showcasing the Penny Black 30-768 Santa’s Crew set (I’m smitten with these images). See the other card created with this set here.

I stamped, Copic-colored, and fussy-cut the 30-768 Santa’s Crew images.
I stamped the 30-731 Christmas Moments sentiment in white pigment ink on the dark blue cardstock.
I cut the 51-459 Neighborhood Border from white cardstock and backed the window with yellow cardstock. I trimmed the border and added it to the stamped background.
I added the 30-768 Santa’s Crew hedgehogs to the scene with foam adhesive.
To fill the sky, I added snowflakes cut with the 51-268 A Blizzard and 51-080 Around Town sets.

Hello! Today, I am sharing a holiday card showcasing the Penny Black 30-768 Santa’s Crew set.

I stamped, Copic-colored, and fussy-cut the 30-768 Santa’s Crew images.
I cut the 51-567 Tree Border from white cardstock.
I colored a panel with Peacock Feathers ink to which I adhered the trees and trimmed the sides and bottom.
I added the sentiment cut from red cardstock using the 51-574 …bright set to the panel.
I added the panel to a red card base and adhered the hedgehogs with foam adhesive.
To fill the sky, I added snowflakes cut with the 51-268 A Blizzard and 51-080 Around Town sets.
