Hello! I am delighted to share a holiday card created with products from the on-trend Tiered Tray Collection by Becky Roberts at Spellbinders.
As I previously mentioned in this post, decorating the two-dimensional tray is like decorating a real tiered tray – add anchor pieces on the shelves on opposite sides for balance, add smaller pieces to create symmetry, fill empty spots, and add sprigs of greenery.
- Glimmer foil Joyful Christmas Sentiments in red foil on Snowdrift cardstock.
- Dry-emboss Cosmic Sky cardstock with the Flurry of Snowflakes 3D folder, trim to A2-size, and add to card base.
- Cut Tiered Tray from Brushed Silver cardstock and add distress ink to add dimension. Cut top of tray from Onyx cardstock. Assemble.
- Cut Tiered Tray Décor pieces from Snowdrift, Onyx, and colored cardstock, shade with ink, and assemble as required. I used a chalk pencil to color in the stripes on the gnome’s hat. Add décor to tray.
- Add decorated tray assembly to dry-embossed background. Adhere sentiment with foam adhesive. Embellish with snowflakes cut with dies in the Holiday Decorations and Chill Bear sets.
