Hello! Today, I am sharing a CAS, mini slimline card featuring the Spellbinders Color Block Mini Shapes – Petals. I previously shared three cards showcasing the Color Block Mini Shapes Collection here.
- Dry-emboss a mini slimline base with the Diamond Plaid folder.
- Cut Color Block Mini Shapes – Petals from navy, light blue, tan, and dark brown cardstock (cutting each color eight times). Cut base from ivory cardstock with solid petal die. Assemble. Note: I left the centers of the petals empty, revealing the ivory base.
- Foil Be Bold “Hello” in Matte Gold on ivory cardstock; cut with coordinating die.
- Tape petals together on back. Add to dry-embossed base. Add sentiment with foam adhesive.
The diamond plaid looks amazing on a mini slim with those petals atop, Jean! Great color combo too!!
Now I have to buy another die set?!! This is so cool. Love the simplicity that comes together as a stunning card.
