Spellbinders September 2021 Clubs Blog Hop

Hello! I am delighted to be participating in a blog hop sharing two projects created with the Spellbinders September 2021 Club Subscriptions. You should have reached me from the blog of Virginia Lu. (The entire list of participants is included at the end of my post.) For the hop, I created cards with this month’s Large Die of the Month kit “Just a Tweet” and the Clear Stamp of the Month Club “A Little Birdie Told Me.” I previously shared cards created with the Large Die of the Month here and the Clear Stamp of the Month here.

Giveaway closes on Sunday, September 19th, 11:59 pm MST. The winner will be announced in the blog hop post the following Wednesday. The winner is responsible for shipping cost, duties and taxes. Create background by dry-embossing light-blue cardstock with the Simply Perfect Florets folder. To put the focus on the bird and flowers, die-cut a 3-inch circle in tan cardstock with a die in the Essential Circles set. Attach to background.
Die-cut Large Die of the Month bird, flowers, stems, and sentiment from cardstock, assemble, and adhere to card.
Add Silver Mix Gems for embellishment.

In black ink, stamp the birds on to cardstock and cut with the coordinating die set (available separately).
Die-cut balloons, balloon strings, and sentiment with dies in the Large Die of the Month set. As I have mentioned before, this set is jam-packed with dies! Assemble pieces as necessary.
Add balloons, birds, and sentiment to card base.
Add Silver Mix Gems for embellishment.

Spellbinders Snowy Christmas Scene + A Sale

Hello! Today, I am delighted to share a winter Christmas scene created with Spellbinders supplies from several different collections. I really enjoy mixing and matching between collections.

Apply white embossing paste through the Layered Christmas Tree stencil on to an A2-size navy cardstock panel and allow to dry.
Cut snowy hills from Stampin’ Up white velvet cardstock with the Color Block Scenic Scape dies. Add to card background. Die-cut trees with a die in the Chill Bear set from green cardstock.
Cut houses with dies in the Silent Night set from red cardstock and back with soft yellow cardstock.
Cut snowflakes with dies in the Silent Night set and the Chill Bear set from white felt cardstock.
Heat emboss Sunday Drive All-Occasion sentiment in white on green cardstock and cut with die in the Yana’s Tiny Sentiments set.
Add elements to card base.

Penny Black Halloween Camper

Hello! Today, I am sharing a Halloween-themed card created with Penny Black die sets. The 51-645 Campers die set was released this summer and I used it on a camping-themed card here. I wanted to test-drive it (pun intended) for a different season.

Apply Distress Oxide inks to A2-size cardstock panel to create sky and horizon line.
Die-cut 51-645 Campers pieces and assemble with the inlay technique (see instructions here).
Die-cut trees from black cardstock using the 51-463 Winter Trees and 51-675 Windy sets. Die-cut 51-077 Eeek! sentiment twice for depth.
Die-cut jack-o’-lantern with the 51-654 Carved Cuties set.
Die-cut smaller pumpkins with the 51-360 Pumpkins & Leaves set.
Die-cut yellow moon with a circle die.
Adhere elements to card base.

Spellbinders Halloween Cupcake Toppers

Hello! Today, I am sharing a papercrafting project – cupcake toppers created with the Spellbinders Open House Boo! set, part of their Halloween Collection. The cupcakes are pumpkin spice!

Die-cut bats, ghosts, and cat with dies in the Open House Boo! set from Snowdrift cardstock and glitter cardstock (Stampin’ Up black glitter). Die-cut sentiments twice each for dimension. Assemble pieces as required.
Die-cut 2-inch circles (with the detail and outline dies) from colored paper (Echo Park Halloween Magic) using the Essential Circles set (back with Onyx cardstock circles).
Attach elements to circles; attach circles to wooden skewers. Add to cupcakes!

Penny Black – Fall Bouquet

Hello! As I patiently wait for products from the new Penny Black Autumn 2021 release, I am sharing a fall-themed card created with previously-released Penny Black supplies.

Die-cut 51-611 Creative Curves from white cardstock. Adhere light-blue cardstock to back. Add panel to Simple Stories patterned paper card base.
Stamp 30-794 Hedgehugs sentiment and cut with tag die.
Adhere double-sided adhesive to vellum and cut with 51-142 Mason Jar die.
Apply Distress ink to outside to simulate water.
Die-cut 51-653 Autumn Decor (blooms and foliage) from cardstock colored with Distress Oxide inks. Assemble.
Arrange blooms on card background, peel adhesive from back of 51-142 Mason Jar, and adhere to blooms, being sure that the top of the jar is loose. Attach sentiment tag to twine and tie around the top of the jar.
Add Silver Mix Gems.
