Hero Arts | Apple Frame

Hello! Today I am sharing a fall-themed card that highlights the Hero Arts I Pick You Collection, which includes the Apple Frame die set designed to create a frame of layered apples, leaves, and flowers. I die-cut the pieces from Bristol cardstock and colored the pieces with Distress Oxide inks. The design is finished with a stamped sentiment, “You’re So Golden,” for an uplifting touch.

- To begin, cut the Apple Frame, leaves, apples, flowers, and flower centers from Bristol cardstock.
- Color frame with Distress Oxide inks, masking areas for different colors as needed.
- Apply blue ink to a Bristol cardstock A2-size panel. Add to the back of the inked frame panel. Attach assembly to card base.
- Color leaves, flowers, flower centers, and apples with Distress Oxide inks. Assemble flowers as needed. Add elements to the card front.
- Stamp the You’re Golden sentiment and cut with the coordinating die. Add to the card with foam adhesive.

Just like apple picking brings a wave of nostalgia and marks the cozy arrival of fall, this apple vine border card celebrates the simple joys of the season.

Newton’s Nook | Harvest Haul

Hello! Nothing says autumn quite like a vintage pickup truck loaded with seasonal treasures! For this handmade card, I used Newton’s Nook supplies to stamp a fall scene. The heartfelt sentiment, “May the colors of fall bring you a harvest of joy,” captures the charm of the season. I know that I’m drawn to the rich colors of autumn.

- Stamp the Newton’s Nook Harvest Haul sentiment on to gold cardstock. Cut with a square (4 1/4″) stitched die. Cut ground with the same die and add to the sentiment panel. Add assembly to a prepared card base.
- Stamp Harvest Haul pickup and leaves. Color with media of choice. I used Tombow markers. Watercoloring stamped images is a soothing process for me; it’s a chance to slow down and enjoy the process.
- Once dry, cut the images with the coordinating dies. Add to the card base with glue and foam adhesive.

Art Impressions | Happy Harvest Front Porch

Hello! There’s nothing quite like a front porch dressed up for the season! Today, I’m sharing a handmade card created with supplies from Art Impressions , featuring a welcoming door and porch decorated for fall. I stamped and watercolored the image to bring out all the cozy autumn details and finished the design with a heartfelt sentiment.

- Dry-emboss the Fawn cardstock base with the Honey Bee Burlap folder. Add to an A2-size card base.
- Stamp the Front Porch Door and Harvest Set elements on to Arches Cold Pressed Watercolor paper with Archival Ink. Watercolor with media of choice. I used Tombow markers. Die-cut elements with the coordinating dies. I fussy-cut the door as the coordinating die punches out the windowpanes.
- Add elements to the prepared card base, using foam adhesive as needed.
- Stamp the sentiment on to a watercolor paper strip. I used the now-retired Elizabeth Craft Designs Autumn Words stamp set. Add sentiment strip below the porch.

Spellbinders | A Little Fall Charm

Hello! Autumn brings with it a sense of warmth and coziness, and I wanted to capture that feeling on my latest card. Using the September Stamp and Die Club offering at Spellbinders, I created a design filled with fall icons including acorns, pumpkins, pinecones, and squash. The sentiment, “a little fall charm, just for you,” makes it perfect for sharing the beauty of the season with someone special.

- Create an A2-size card base with Fawn cardstock.
- Using the September Clear Stamp set, stamp the sentiment and images with Potting Soil ink. Stencil the stamped images with Distress Inks using the Autumn Whim stencil (the September Deluxe Caboodle offering). Cut with the coordinating dies.
- Add sentiment and images to the prepared card base with foam squares.

Spellbinders | Santa Mug

Nothing says Christmas quite like Santa himself, and this handmade card brings him to life in the most festive way—a Santa-shaped mug created with the Cocoa Greetings die set (Spellbinders July 2025 Die of the Month kit). A Christmas-themed patterned paper background and a seasonal sentiment complete the design.

- Cut patterned paper with the Bow & Bell Scallop Frame set and add scalloped mat to an A2-size card base.
- Cut Santa with dies in the Cocoa Greetings set. Assemble.
- Press sentiment and cut with coordinating die.
- Add Santa and sentiment to prepared card base with foam.
