Penny Black Season’s Greetings

Hello! Today, I am sharing a Christmas card featuring the just-released Penny Black 51-725 Bold Bell die set (from the Making Spirits Bright release) that I paired with other Penny Black products, old and new.

Heat-emboss, in gold, the 40-345 Red Star sentiment on vellum.
With double-sided adhesive, adhere sentiment to patterned paper. Trim to A2-size.
Die-cut border with die in 51-709 Stitched Frames set. Add to sentiment panel.
From gold cardstock, cut the 51-725 Bold Bell body and shade with Black Soot ink. Die-cut bell from gold foil cardstock and bow from red velvet cardstock. Assemble pieces.
Die-cut sprig with 51-705 Peaceful Pines set.
Add bell to card with foam adhesive, tucking the sprig underneath.

Penny Black Making Spirits Bright

‘Tis the season! Today, I am sharing a slimline Christmas card created with a Penny Black sentiment set 30-868 Season To Believe from the Making Spirits Bright release paired with the new 51-718 Slimline Medley die set and other Penny Black die sets.

With the 51-718 Slimline Medley outline and detailed border dies, die-cut the card base from navy cardstock.
Heat-emboss the 30-868 Season To Believe sentiment in white.
Die-cut Santa and his team of reindeer with 51-560 Here Comes… from silver foil.
Die-cut the snowflakes from with the 51-708 Dancing Snowflakes, 51-268 A Blizzard, and 51-080 Around Town die sets from Sugar Coated cardstock.
Adhere elements to the card base.

Spellbinders October 2021 Large Die Kit Club

Hello crafty friends! I’m delighted to share two holiday cards created with the Spellbinders October 2021 Large Die of the Month “Santa’s Fireplace.” This jam-packed set includes dies to create the fireplace, add Santa and/or a fire, as well as accessorize with a wreath, stockings, and/or candlesticks. There are a variety of sentiments that can be included as part of the fireplace hearth. Find out more about this set here.

On both cards, I created card backgrounds with patterned paper in the Christmas Traditions pad.
I dry-embossed the firebox area with the Striped Slimline folder.
I die-cut the Large Die of the Month pieces from a variety of cardstocks including red and white flocked paper, textured white, brushed silver, silver foil, black foil, woodgrain, and green glitter.
On the first card, I used the knock out of the sentiment hearth die to personalize the stockings.
