Spellbinders Liberty Collection – July and December

Hello! I was recently a guest blogger for Spellbinders on their blog sharing two cards showcasing the Liberty Collection. With the collection, I created a 4^th of July card and a Christmas card. I hope you will head over to see my creations, read about the designs, and leave a comment!

Marianne Design Beach Scene

Hello! Even though it is not even 60 degrees here in the Pacific Northwest, I am sharing a beach scene! The card is created primarily with die sets from Marianne Design. (The company is based in The Netherlands; I buy their sets from Frantic Stamper or 123Stitch.)

The sand is created from light tan cardstock to which I added dry clear glitter with double-sided adhesive.
The Lifeguard House has open slots on the back through which I inked the details (white pigment ink on navy blue cardstock).
The Lifeguard House die is one piece. I cut it from white and added the navy blue portion (by fussy-cutting it). I did the same with the red flag.
The umbrella die is one piece as well. I cut if from white and yellow cardstock; I cut the yellow portion and added it to the white umbrella piece.
The sentiment is from a now-retired Simon Says Stamp set. I stamped it on to white cardstock and cut it with a Memory Box cloud die.

Elizabeth Craft Designs – Birthday Monkey in a Jeep

Hello! Today, I am sharing a birthday card created with products from Elizabeth Craft Designs for someone enthusiastic about jeeps and/or animals. Whenever I create a card with a jeep (or tractor or car, …), it is with either my eldest son or my husband in mind. I have shared cards with some of these same products here and here.

I cut the Monkey from cardstock colored with inks (Vintage Photo and Memento Desert Sand).
I cut the Jeep from red, dark red (behind the grill), black, and yellow cardstock, as well as silver foil.
I used the Party Accessories set to cut the hat and the balloons.
I stamped a Stampin’ Up sentiment onto the light blue background (5 1/2″ x 6 1/2″).

Another Take on Penny Black Garden Fresh

Hello! I am sharing an appreciation card that showcases the 30-816 Garden Fresh stamp set (with coordinating die) from the Penny Black “Delight” release. I shared another card here with similar supplies.

I stamped, Copic-colored, and die-cut the pitcher and blooms with 30-816 Garden Fresh and 51-703 Garden Fresh Cut Out.
I stamped the sentiment from 30-710 Trust Me Builder and cut it with a banner die.
I cut the back frame with the 51-611 Creative Curves die from white cardstock. The paper behind is from a retired patterned paper collection, as is the card base.
To embellish, I cut 51-610 Hydrangea butterflies from yellow cardstock and heat-embossed them with clear powder for shine.

Another Take with the Spellbinders June 2021 Large Die Kit Club

Hello crafty friends! Here in the Pacific Northwest we are having warm, summer-like weather (highly unusual and it will be back to cooler temps tomorrow!). Today, I’m sharing a colorful A2-sized card created with the Spellbinders June 2021 Large Die of the Month “Color Block Circles & Stripes” and Clear Stamp of the Month Club “Circle of Sunshine.” I shared two slimline cards with these products in this post.

For the background, I applied Distress Oxide ink through the Sun Burst Stencil. I then applied Moonstone Glimmer Paste.
I heat-embossed the Clear Stamp of the Month Club sentiment and cut it with the circle die in the Large Die of the Month set.
I cut the loops from both orange and silver cardstock.
I created the circles from rainbow colors of cardstock.
