Spellbinders Heartfelt Thanks Vignette

Hello! Today I am sharing a CAS card, which was both quick and easy to assemble, created with the Spellbinders Heartfelt Thanks die set, part of the Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes Collection by Becca Feeken.

Spellbinders Heartfelt Thanks Vignette

  • I die-cut ivory cardstock and Simple Stories patterned paper with the Heartfelt Thanks die set and assembled the pieces.
  • I added the assembly to a card base measuring 5 inches wide x 6 1/4 inches tall to which I had adhered a Simple Stories patterned paper panel measuring 4 3/4 inches wide x 6 inches tall.
  • To embellish, I added a butterfly and flowers from Prima in the upper-left and lower-right corners. (It’s just a coincidence that the embellishments matched the patterned paper. I bought the embellishments specifically for this project and had the patterned paper in my stash.)

Elizabeth Craft Designs – On the Farm

Howdy and Hee Haw! Today I am sharing a farm-themed card created with Elizabeth Craft Designs die sets. You can see more about the ECD Life is Better on the Farm Collection here. Els has an infectious enthusiasm!

Elizabeth Craft Designs - On the Farm

  • I die-cut the rooster, the hen, and the hay from watercolored cardstock. I assembled the pieces.
  • I die-cut the grass from cardstock to which I applied Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink.
  • I die-cut the fence from white cardstock.
  • I applied Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink to the background and stamped the Technique Tuesday sentiment.
  • I added the layers to the card, popping the rooster and hen up with foam adhesive.

Spellbinders Liberty Collection – July and December

Hello! I was recently a guest blogger for Spellbinders on their blog sharing two cards showcasing the Liberty Collection. With the collection, I created a 4th of July card and a Christmas card. I hope you will head over to see my creations, read about the designs, and leave a comment!

Marianne Design Beach Scene

Hello! Even though it is not even 60 degrees here in the Pacific Northwest, I am sharing a beach scene! The card is created primarily with die sets from Marianne Design. (The company is based in The Netherlands; I buy their sets from Frantic Stamper or 123Stitch.)

  • The sand is created from light tan cardstock to which I added dry clear glitter with double-sided adhesive.
  • The Lifeguard House has open slots on the back through which I inked the details (white pigment ink on navy blue cardstock).
  • The Lifeguard House die is one piece. I cut it from white and added the navy blue portion (by fussy-cutting it). I did the same with the red flag.
  • The umbrella die is one piece as well. I cut if from white and yellow cardstock; I cut the yellow portion and added it to the white umbrella piece.
  • The sentiment is from a now-retired Simon Says Stamp set. I stamped it on to white cardstock and cut it with a Memory Box cloud die.
