Easter Wishes – Taylored Expressions Feb 2017 Release Sneak Peeks Day Three

Hello! Welcome to Day Three of the Taylored Expressions February Sneak Peeks. The Easter and Spring season products we have been sneaking this week will be released tomorrow – Thursday, February 9 @ 7 AM PST!

Today I’m sharing two cards created entirely with die-cuts. My first card showcases the Eventful – Bunny Border.

TE Feb 2017 Release

I used a variety of Taylored Expressions dies to create the layers on the card. I created the sentiment with the Easter Wishes Banner. I chose to leave the bunnies white and place them in a scene with a lot of color. However, there are lots of ways one could use this die set – color the die-cut with Copic markers or watercolors or cut it into two pieces and insert those pieces into a die-cut scene.

For my second project, I created an Easter basket on to which I added the die-cut Easter Wishes Banner sentiment.

I filled a basket created with the Wicker Pocket die with eggs cut with the Egg Stacklets set and dry-embossed with the Loopy Loops and On the Spot folders.

Easter Blessings – Taylored Expressions February 2017 Sneak Peeks Day Two

Hello! Welcome to Day Two of the Taylored Expressions February Sneak Peeks. The Spring and Easter products being sneaked will be released Thursday, February 9 @ 7 AM PST!

My first project features the You’re in my Prayers stamp set.

I combined the stamped sentiment (there are several options on the set) with a floral bouquet created with Spring Florals and Bloomin’ Birthday Stamp & Die Combo. I used Lemon Meringue Enamel Shapes for the flower centers. (At the end of this post, I have information on a promotion of the Enamel Shapes.)

My Easter card combines the Little Bits – Crosses set with a sentiment from He Is Risen.

I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment. I colored the dry-embossed background with ink using the largest brush in the Clarity Stencil Brushes set. I framed the card with frames created using the Ornate Frame Cutting Plate.

Welcome Spring! – Taylored Expressions Feb 2017 Release Sneak Peeks Day One

Hello! Welcome to Day One of the Taylored Expressions February Sneak Peeks. This release is all about Easter and Spring! (As I write, there is snow falling outside and a winter weather advisory in effect – I’m ready for some warmer weather!) The products we are sneaking will be released Thursday, February 9 @ 7 AM PST!

My first card is a watercolored panel stamped with the Bloomin’ Background and a sentiment from Simply Said – Spring.

I stamped the background and sentiment on TE Premium Watercolor Cardstock and colored the image with watercolors in the Kuretake Gansai Tambi – 24 set. It was so relaxing to color in this image and I look forward to a change of seasons!

Easter is one of my favorite holidays – I like the holiday’s motifs and colors. This Easter card showcases the Skinny Mini Spring Borders.

Penny Black Simplicity – Be Mine

Hello! Today, I’m sharing a CAS Valentine created with the Penny Black die set 51-180 All My Hearts.

I used the die set, which includes five detailed hearts and a solid heart, to cut the hearts from a variety of color cardstock. I adhered the overlays to the solid hearts with liquid adhesive and attached the assembled hearts to colored cardstock squares with foam adhesive.

My first project showcases another new Stamp & Die Combo set – Llama Love.

I stamped and Copic-colored the llama. There are multiple expressions you can use for this stamp! The sentiment was stamped and cut with the new Stitched Cloud Duo set.

My second project showcases the Give me a Sign stamp set. The set features six cute critters and a number of sentiment possibilities!
