Spellbinders | Tweet Cardinal Christmas Tag
Hello! Today I am sharing a Christmas tag featuring the Tweet Cardinal die set, part of the Celebrate the Season Collection at Spellbinders, paired with a foiled background and sentiment. You can see a mini slimline card featuring the Tweet Cardinal in this post.
- Glimmer foil the Plaid Tidings Background on Brushed Gold cardstock in Green foil. Cut with the Create a Decorative Tag die.
- Glimmer foil the Glitter Wishes sentiment in Gold on Snowdrift cardstock. Cut with coordinating die, trim to width of tag, and add to tag.
- Die cut Tweet Cardinal from cardstock and assemble.
- Embellish tag with poinsettia and foliage cut with dies in the Parcel & Post Christmas Decorations and Build a Winter Birdhouse sets from Mirror Green and Mirror Red cardstock. Add gold twine to tag.

Spellbinders | Glimmer Greetings Blooming Tree
Hello crafty friends! I am sharing a Christmas card that showcases the Glimmer Greetings Collection at Spellbinders. This card combines several of my favorite techniques: die cutting, glimmer foiling, and dry embossing.
Here’s how you can make this card:
- Cut arch background from Pink Sand cardstock with the largest die in the Essential Arches set. Dry emboss and attach to arch-shaped card base.
- Glimmer foil the Paid Tidings Background in Moondust on Teal Topaz cardstock. Cut foiled panel with die in the Blooming Tree set. Add star cut with die in the Holiday Decorations set from gold foil.
- Glimmer foil the Blooming Tree flower and foliage in Gold on Snowdrift. Color flower and cut items with coordinating dies.
- Glimmer foil the Glitter Wishes sentiment in Gold on Snowdrift cardstock. Cut with coordinating die. Trim to width of the arch and attach.
- Assemble and embellish with Opal Gems.
Rubbernecker | Whimsical Die-cut Christmas Scene
Hello! Today, I am sharing a whimsical, Christmas scene created with Rubbernecker stamp and die sets. Rubbernecker has been sharing Christmas inspiration all month; head to their blog for more inspiration.
Here’s how you can make this card:
- Stamp and heat-emboss the Christmas Phrases Large/Small sentiment, (this stamp set is filled with wonderful sentiments), on a dark blue A2-size cardstock panel. Cut glitter cardstock with die in the Slimline Hills set and add to bottom for snow.
- Cut Slimline Christmas Tree layers from ink-colored cardstock. Cut snow from glitter cardstock with the tree layer dies and fussy-cut along the top. Adhere snow to tree layers. Assemble tree, titling the layers towards the right. Add star to top and add assembled tree to scene.
- Cut deer and birds from ink-colored cardstock with Reindeer and Bird’s die set. Assemble and add to scene.
- To embellish, cut packages from ink-colored cardstock with the Santa Mini set.
Spellbinders | Celebrate the Season “Winter Welcome Sled”
Hello! I have more Christmas inspiration to share from the recent releases at Spellbinders with a card that showcases the adorable Winter Welcome Sled die set, part of the Celebrate the Season Collection.
Here’s how you can make this card:
- Emboss a 4 x 5 1/4 inch Brushed Silver cardstock panel with the Stargazer folder. Add to textured, white, A2-size cardstock and attach to card base.
- Cut sled from kraft and Brushed Silver cardstock; assemble. Decorate with ice skates, poinsettia, and foliage cut with dies in the Winter Welcome Sled and Parcel & Post Christmas Decorations sets; cut evergreen from Green Glitter Foam. Add sled assembly to card.
- Foil Glitter Wishes sentiment in Silver on Snowdrift cardstock; cut with coordinating die and add to card.
- To embellish, cut snowflakes with dies in the Holiday Decorations set from Snowdrift cardstock. Add to card.
