Hello! I was recently a guest on the Spellbinders blog sharing holiday cards created with the recently-released Christmas Traditions Collection. The nativity products in this collection caught me eye, as I vividly remember a Christmas card depicting the Wise Men that I saw as a young child. I hope you will head on over to read more about the cards I created and leave a comment!

Hello crafty friends! I’m sharing two holiday tags created with the Spellbinders October 2021 Large Die of the Month “Santa’s Fireplace” and the Clear Stamp of the Month Club “Sending You.” Last week, I shared two holiday cards created with the Large Die of the Month kit here. The Clear Stamp of the Month Club set contains sentiments for a number of occasions.
- Die-cut tags with the Heart to Heart Tag set from patterned paper in the Christmas Traditions pad; back with Snowdrift cardstock.
- I added Snowdrift backgrounds dry-embossed with the Sweater Weather folder.
- Heat-emboss the Clear Stamp of the Month Club sentiments and cut with banner die in the Heart to Heart Tag set.
- Die-cut Large Die of the Month stockings, garland, and wreath from solid cardstock, flock cardstock, and silver foil, assemble, and attach to tags.
- Add metallic twine.

Spellbinders October 2021 Large Die Kit Club
Hello crafty friends! I’m delighted to share two holiday cards created with the Spellbinders October 2021 Large Die of the Month “Santa’s Fireplace.” This jam-packed set includes dies to create the fireplace, add Santa and/or a fire, as well as accessorize with a wreath, stockings, and/or candlesticks. There are a variety of sentiments that can be included as part of the fireplace hearth. Find out more about this set here.
- On both cards, I created card backgrounds with patterned paper in the Christmas Traditions pad.
- I dry-embossed the firebox area with the Striped Slimline folder.
- I die-cut the Large Die of the Month pieces from a variety of cardstocks including red and white flocked paper, textured white, brushed silver, silver foil, black foil, woodgrain, and green glitter.
- On the first card, I used the knock out of the sentiment hearth die to personalize the stockings.
Spellbinders All Aboard Card Kit Blog Hop
Hello! I am delighted to be taking part in the Spellbinders All Aboard Card Kit Blog Hop. You should have reached me from the blog of Ilina Crouse. (The entire list of participants is included at the end of my post.) I previously shared projects with the kit here, here, and here.
Spellbinders is giving away a $25 gift certificate to 3 lucky blog readers – selected from the comments on the Spellbinders blog. Giveaway closes on Sunday, October 3rd, 11:59 pm MST. The winner will be announced in the blog hop post the following Wednesday. The winner is responsible for shipping cost, duties and taxes. Please note: store credit (gift certificate) cannot be applied to Club Subscriptions; store credit can be applied to shop past Club products, Club extras, and regular releases.
For the hop, I created two cards and two tags with the All Aboard Card Kit. I had kept the kit pieces together in the original box, and it was easy to find coordinating die-cut and chipboard elements, solid cardstock, patterned paper, and embellishments. These projects took almost no time to assemble.
I dry-embossed the card bases using the Evergreen folder (dark green) and the Stargazer folder (burgundy).
To help cluster the die-cut pieces, I cut 3-inch circles with the detail and outline dies and backed with gold foil. Both the textured white cardstock and gold foil are included in the kit. I embellished the tree with Gold Mix Gems. To add dimension to the cards, I mixed chipboard elements from the kit with the die-cut pieces.
I die-cut the tags with the Heart to Heart Tag set from patterned paper in the kit, which I backed with white cardstock.
I added one of the tags to a coffee/chocolate-themed gift.
Just as I did on the cards, I mixed die-cut elements with chipboard pieces. I used enamel dots from the kit to embellish the tree.
Thank you for dropping by! I hope I have inspired you. Head next to the blog of Yasmin Diaz. Scroll for full list of participants.
