Spellbinders | Framed Blooms

Hello! Sometimes the most meaningful cards are the ones sent for no reason at all. Today’s card features the Spellbinders All Clubs Crate Exclusive Item for February 2026. I arranged the flowers against a dry-embossed panel for subtle texture and added a die-cut frame. I finished the design with a letterpress sentiment. This is a versatile design that feels thoughtful without being tied to any specific occasion.

Spellbinders | Framed Blooms

    • Dry-emboss a 5″ x 7″ Mint cardstock panel with the Distress Mix folder. Add to a card base.
    • With the Exclusive die set, cut the blooms and foliage; assemble. I cut the detailed piece twice. For the bottom layer, I taped the pieces on the back and then glued on the top layer.
    • Arrange the blooms to the dry-embossed panel.
    • With a die in the Mirrored Arch Labels set, cut a frame from a 5″ x 7″ white cardstock panel. Add to the assembly with foam adhesive.
    • Press the You are Everything sentiment and cut with the coordinating die. Add to the card with foam adhesive.

It’s Never Too Late to Unwind

Hello! This card is a gentle reminder that pampering isn’t reserved for a special occasion or a certain stage of life. Created with the Spellbinders Unwind die set, this month’s Caboodle offering, the eye mask with heart details and cozy critter slippers set the tone for rest and comfort, while the sentiment makes it a perfect gal pal card. In cheerful reds, whites, and pinks against a playful pink polka dot background, this design celebrates friendship, self-care, and the simple truth that it’s never too late to slow down and indulge a little.

It’s Never Too Late to Unwind

    • Create an A2-size card base and cover it with patterned paper.
    • Using the Unwind die set, cut the eye mask and slippers from your chosen cardstock colors and assemble the pieces.
    • Stamp the sentiment and cut it out with the coordinating die.
    • Arrange and adhere the assembled elements and sentiment onto the prepared card base.

Hero Arts | Get Well Soon Card

Hello and happy December! I didn’t expect this card to be quite so fun to make but the Hero Arts Alphabet Soup die set, this month’s Hero Studio Die Set of the Month turned out to be one of those kits that invites you to play. As I built the little bowl of tomato soup, adding the spoon, crackers, and floating letters, I found myself enjoying the scene-building far more than I anticipated. And the black-and-white check patterned paper gave the whole card a warm, kitchen-table charm. And honestly, “Get Well Soon” cards are ones we reach for more often than we think. The card feels nurturing rather than saying, “oh woe, you’re sick.”

Hero Arts | Get Well Soon Card

    • Cover an A2-size card base with patterned paper.
    • Cut the Alphabet Soup pieces from a variety of cardstock colors and textures. Assemble as necessary and add to the card front.

Spellbinders | Shark Slippers

Hello! After recently creating a cow slipper card, I couldn’t resist returning to the Cozy Toes Friends die set at Spellbinders. For this design, I used the shark face dies and paired them with a sentiment from the Cozy Toes Friends stamp set: “Good friends are like well-loved slippers.” The heart envelope pajamas bring a cheerful pop that complements the shark slippers.

This time, I paired the purse design with the adorable flying pig charm from the Caboodle Offering. The mix adds a whimsical touch to the trendy bag charm theme. For this version, I used different patterned papers for the purse, background, and scarf. You can see my first card with the November Large Die set HERE.
