Hello! Today I’m sharing a handmade card with a message of encouragement. Using the Spellbinders “Sailor’s Light” die set – the June 2025 Large Die of the Month club offering – I created a scene with a lighthouse casting its beam across the ocean. The sentiment “Let hope guide you” makes this card perfect for someone going through a tough time—or simply as a gentle reminder of brighter days ahead. See more inspiration HERE.

- Cover an A2-size card base with patterned paper.
- Cut Large Die of the Month pieces from a variety of cardstock colors. Assemble.
- Add assembled elements to the prepared card base.
- Stamp the Fair Winds sentiment and cut with the coordinating die. Add to card.

Encouragement Card for Dog Lovers

Hello! If you’re looking for the perfect card to brighten someone’s day, this encouragement card might be just the thing. Featuring a charming pug dressed in glasses and bandana, this design, created with Spellbinders supplies, brings instant smiles. Whether you’re sending support to a dog-loving friend or simply want to say, “hang in there,” this card delivers a heartwarming message with personality.

- To begin, cover an A2-size card base with patterned paper.
- Cut pug pieces from cardstock and vellum with dies in the Big Pug set. Assemble.
- Cut glasses and bandana with dies in the Cats and Pugs Accessories set.
- With the Cats and Pugs Sentiments set, stamp the sentiment. Cut with die in the Spellbinders Cheerful Kittens set. Cut back banner with another die in the set.
- Add items to card base.

The large die-cut pug takes center stage, filling the card with playful charm—it’s an easy design to make, but one that leaves a big impact.

Fishing-Themed See You Soon Card

Hello! The Fairways & Fish Tales die kit at Spellbinders is packed with both fishing and golf-themed elements, making it a fantastic choice for creating masculine and outdoor-inspired cards. My card showcases the fishing side of this set. With die-cut figures of two men fishing on a dock and a dry-embossed background for texture, this card captures the peacefulness of a day by the water. Whether you are already receiving the Small Die of the Month kit or are considering subscribing this month, I hope this project inspires you to explore all the creative possibilities it offers!

- Create an A2-size card base from Indigo cardstock.
- With the All Wrapped Up folder, dry-emboss a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ panel of Windy cardstock.
- Cut patterned paper with the water line die in the Fairways & Fish Tales set. Trim and add to the dry-embossed panel and attach assembly to card base.
- With dies in the Fairways & Fish Tales set, cut pieces for the two men, fishing rods, and accessories. Assemble and add to the card background.
- Stamp the Message Strips sentiment with Cobalt ink on Alabaster cardstock and cut with the banner die included in the Message Strips set.

Lawn Fawn | Cozy Winter Raccoon Card

Hello! There’s nothing cozier than a warm cup of cocoa on a chilly winter day—unless, of course, it’s a cute woodland critter enjoying one too! For this winter-themed friendship card, I used a delightful die set to create a raccoon all bundled up in a scarf and earmuffs, holding a steaming mug of cocoa. This card is perfect for sending warm winter wishes to a friend!

- Cut Honey Bee patterned paper with A2-size die in the Large Stitched Rectangle Stacklets and add to card base.
- Cut raccoon with dies in the Woodland Critter Huggers set from a variety of cardstock colors.
- Cut scarf, cocoa, and earmuffs with dies in the Winter Add-On set.
- Assemble raccoon and winter accessories. Note: place the piece of the scarf that goes around the neck on the raccoon body to determine placement of eyes, nose, and cheeks. Additionally, I chose to place the scarf ends on top, rather than placing one of the ends behind, in order to reduce bulk.
- Stamp Simply Summer sentiment on to white cardstock and cut with banner die. The sentiment “Have the Coolest Day Ever” comes from a summer-themed set, but it works perfectly for a winter card, too. By looking beyond a product’s intended use, you can get even more versatility out of your stash.
- Add assembled raccoon to card front with foam adhesive and the sentiment with dot adhesive.
- Embellish background with snowflakes cut from white glitter foam. Additionally, I added a white heart to the red mug, which I cut with a die in the Speech Bubbles set.
