Elizabeth Craft | Feathered Friends Hello

Hello! I’m back playing with the Elizabeth Craft Designs Birds & Dwellings die set. This time, I took a different approach from my previous card featuring the birdhouse and two cardinals. For today’s design, I chose the bird cage and paired it with two sweet birds, all die cut from watercolor paper that I colored with Distress Sprays. A dry-embossed background adds texture without competing with the focal elements. I finished the design with a tucked-away “hello” tag sentiment for a subtle finishing touch.

Elizabeth Craft | Feathered Friends Hello

    • Dry-emboss solid cardstock with an embossing folder. I used the now-retired Sizzix Tim Holtz Floral folder. Add panel to an A2-size card base.
    • Using a die in the Essential Stylish Ovals set from Spellbinders, cut an oval from vellum.
    • Cut watercolor cardstock, colored with Distress Sprays, with the Birds & Dwellings dies for the birds, birdcage, and florals. Assemble and add to the oval. Add the assembly to the card base.
    • Stamp the sentiment (now-retired SU Timeless Tropical set) and cut it with a small tag die (now-retired MFT tag set).

Elizabeth Craft | Window Scene

Hello! I’ve always loved window cards, and this one is a perfect example of why. The design, created with Elizabeth Craft Designs dies, features an arched window over a rectangular frame, creating a strong architectural focal point. A cat, a dog, a bird, and a tulip-filled window box bring warmth and personality to the composition. Everything is cut from solid cardstock, which keeps the shapes crisp and graphic. The simple “From All of Us” sentiment keeps the focus on the scene.

Elizabeth Craft | Window Scene

    • Cover a 5″ x 7″ card base with patterned paper.
    • With the Through the Window set (from the Everyday Memories Collection), cut the windows, shutters, dog, cat, bird, and window box. Back the windows with yellow cardstock. Create the window assembly. While the Through the Window set includes flowers, I chose to cut tulips using dies in the Garden Edges and Fence set.
    • Press the Always and Forever sentiment and cut with its coordinating die.
Add the window assembly to the card base. Attach the cat, dog, and bird with foam adhesive. Adhere the sentiment with dot adhesive.

Elizabeth Craft | Spring Rain Mice Card

Hello! Today’s card features the charming Big Mouse and Little Mouse die sets from Elizabeth Craft Designs, ready for the spring rain. I intentionally kept the design streamlined by choosing patterned paper for the background rather than building a die-cut scene. I finished the design with a BetterPress sentiment that reads “Hello, Sweet Friend.”

Spellbinders | Framed Blooms

Hello! Sometimes the most meaningful cards are the ones sent for no reason at all. Today’s card features the Spellbinders All Clubs Crate Exclusive Item for February 2026. I arranged the flowers against a dry-embossed panel for subtle texture and added a die-cut frame. I finished the design with a letterpress sentiment. This is a versatile design that feels thoughtful without being tied to any specific occasion.

Spellbinders | Framed Blooms

    • Dry-emboss a 5″ x 7″ Mint cardstock panel with the Distress Mix folder. Add to a card base.
    • With the Exclusive die set, cut the blooms and foliage; assemble. I cut the detailed piece twice. For the bottom layer, I taped the pieces on the back and then glued on the top layer.
    • Arrange the blooms to the dry-embossed panel.
    • With a die in the Mirrored Arch Labels set, cut a frame from a 5″ x 7″ white cardstock panel. Add to the assembly with foam adhesive.
    • Press the You are Everything sentiment and cut with the coordinating die. Add to the card with foam adhesive.

It’s Never Too Late to Unwind

Hello! This card is a gentle reminder that pampering isn’t reserved for a special occasion or a certain stage of life. Created with the Spellbinders Unwind die set, this month’s Caboodle offering, the eye mask with heart details and cozy critter slippers set the tone for rest and comfort, while the sentiment makes it a perfect gal pal card. In cheerful reds, whites, and pinks against a playful pink polka dot background, this design celebrates friendship, self-care, and the simple truth that it’s never too late to slow down and indulge a little.
