Fall Hello Die Cut Tag

Today I’m sharing a fall-themed tag featuring the Taylored Expressions Little Bits Fox.

I combined the die cut fox with several favorite scene builders – the Lawn Fawn Grassy Border and Impression Obsession Beach Fence. The sentiment, from a retired Hero Arts set, was stamped on a Memory Box cloud.

Hope your week is off to a great start!

End of Summer Beach Scene

Today, I’m sharing a “Thinking of You” card in honor of the end-of-summer. The changing of the seasons is always bittersweet, and for me, especially at the end of the summer!

ThinkingofYouBeachScene

I created this card a couple of weeks ago when the weather was still summery, but today the PNW drizzle has resumed! This will probably be my last “summer-themed” card of the year as Halloween and holiday supplies are now out on my work table! I used the Taylored Expressions Build a Scene Rolling Hills and Rolling Waves to create the sand and waves. While the Avery Elle stamp set coordinates with their Hello word die, I find myself using the sentiments alone as I really like the font.

It’s Your Day – Beach Scene

Today, I’m sharing another summer-themed, beach scene crafted with die cuts.

BeachChairCard

I used my favorite red/white/blue scheme again! Hope you’re having a terrific day.

Ho ho ho!

Today I’m sharing a “no sentiment’ holiday card featuring die cuts depicting Santa over the rooftops on Christmas Eve. I chose a “homey” color scheme – kraft, red, white and a touch of chocolate.

I cut the Impression Obsession Santa and reindeer three times for extra depth. The Poppystamps Cute Cottage was cut in the patterned paper and chocolate cardstock (for the window). I trimmed off the bottom since I only wanted the top half of the cottage for my scene. I cut a vellum rectangle and attached it behind the window. The roof and chimney icicle cap were cut out of glitter paper with the Poppystamps Frosted Roof and Ledges die. I used the same die to cut out the heart. The house was attached to the card base (some Stampin’ Up cardstock) with dimensional adhesive to sit higher than the Santa die cut.

I tried a sentiment in the top left corner, but after going back and forth, I decided that the sentiment was cluttering the scene.

Freshly Made Sketches #162

Today I’m playing along with the Freshly Made Sketches #162 challenge.

Freshly Made Sketches #162

For my card, I flipped the sketch horizontally because of the sledder’s orientation. I didn’t want him sledding so close to the card edge!

I cut the MFT slope twice and lined it up on the focal panel and on the panel behind. The sledder was cut twice, once in silver foil and again in cardstock for extra dimension.
