Bee Mine – CAS Valentine

Hello from the snowy Pacific Northwest! We have had more snow in the past few days than we typically have all winter. We are breaking snow records for February. Today I am sharing a CAS Valentine featuring the Paper Smooches Bees Dies and a punny sentiment.

Bee Mine - CAS Valentine

    • I cut and assembled the bees.
    • I created and printed the sentiment on my computer and cut it with a die in the now-retired Avery Elle Scalloped & Pierced Hearts die set.
    • I used a 4 1/4″ square die from Lil’ Inker to cut the patterned paper background (Pebbles 6″ x 6″ pad from several years ago).

Paper Smooches CAS Friendship Card

Hello! I’m sharing a CAS friendship card created from a combination of Paper Smooches products. It’s been far too long since I played with Paper Smooches (one of the first companies whose products I bought when I started cardmaking)!

I went bold with the cardstock colors to create a CAS spring still life. I stamped the watering can on cardstock (rather than color it with Copic markers) and cut it with its companion die. The bird was cut from patterned paper.

12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist – Day 7

I’m playing along with the 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist – Day 7 at Ellen Hutson which is a sketch challenge. I really liked the colors Melania used and that was my starting point.

I used the Lawn Cuts Extra Sentiment Banners to cut the red strips, which I added to a Reverse Confetti tag, cut from brushed silver cardstock. Before cutting the strips, I heat-embossed a small sentiment from the Avery Elle Snow Much Fun set. The snowflakes are a combination of die-cuts from the Lawn Cuts Mini Snowflakes set and a Paper Smooches set.

Paper Smooches Floral Friendship

Today, I’m sharing a “just because” card featuring Paper Smooches supplies.

Paper Smooches Pretty Awesome

I die cut the flowers with two die sets – Flowers and Flowers 2 – and arranged them as if they were in the vase. I framed the scene and attached it to patterned paper, on which I’d stamped a sentiment from Lovely Thoughts (I’ve reached for this set a number of times recently).

Bzz, bzz … Hello!

Today I’m sharing a playful “Hello” card showcasing some Paper Smooches supplies (now retired).

Paper Smooches Bees & Flowers

I die cut the Bees from several different cardstock colors. I cut the Dainty Flowers 2 from white cardstock and used just the outlines so that the emphasis would be on the colorful bees. The sentiment (a Savvy wood stamp I bought at Impress) was stamped on cardstock that I cut with the smallest die in the Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Rectangles set. I used the largest die in that set to cut the woodgrain paper.
