Penny Black – Dream & Discover – Tropical Paradise

Hello (Aloha)! Penny Black has just released a new collection -“Dream & Discover.” I am sharing a summer-themed card created with two of the products in the release – 51-643 Tropical Paradise and 30-844 At Ease.

I used the Spellbinders July 2021 Large Die of the Month “Mini Slimline Envelope and Nested Card Creator” to create the card base and backed it with black cardstock.
I cut the 51-643 Tropical Paradise beach silhouette scene from black cardstock and backed it with a circle colored with Distress Oxide Inks.
I stamped the 30-844 At Ease sentiment on to cardstock colored with Distress Oxide Ink and cut it with a circle die.
I die-cut the 51-643 Tropical Paradise hibiscus and foliage from cardstock colored with Distress Oxide Inks and added them to a circle also colored with ink.
I added the three circles to the card base.

Penny Black – Paws and Relax

Hello! Today I am sharing a card showcasing the 30-832 Paws and Relax stamp set from the Stamping With Scooter release at Penny Black. Today Scooter heads to the spa for some pampering!

I stamped the images and colored them with Copic markers and colored pencils. There is another image in the 30-832 Paws and Relax set, which was too large for this circle size. I plan to use that image as a standalone on another card.
I stamped the images again on to Masking Magic paper. I fussy-cut the images, applied the masks to the colored images, and sponged Tumbled Glass and Antique Linen to the images.
I cut the images with a 2-1/2 inch circle die, from the Hero Arts Infinity Dies set.
I stamped the sentiment on to SU Flirty Flamingo cardstock, cut to a slimline size, and attached the images.

Penny Black Stamping with Scooter – Puptastic

Hello! Today I am sharing a card created with the latest release at Penny Black – Stamping with Scooter! Click HERE to view the catalog. Click HERE for a video presentation of the new products with card ideas.

To create the card, I used the 30-830 Puptastic stamp set along with Penny Black die sets from previous releases.

I die-cut the grass (51-549 Garden Edgers), fence (51-623 Pretty Picket), clouds (51-033 Silver Linings), butterfly (51-610 Hydrangea), and flowers (51-635 Buckets of Flowers) to which I added the stamped, colored, and fussy-cut pup and duck.

Another Take on Penny Black Garden Fresh

Hello! I am sharing an appreciation card that showcases the 30-816 Garden Fresh stamp set (with coordinating die) from the Penny Black “Delight” release. I shared another card here with similar supplies.

I stamped, Copic-colored, and die-cut the pitcher and blooms with 30-816 Garden Fresh and 51-703 Garden Fresh Cut Out.
I stamped the sentiment from 30-710 Trust Me Builder and cut it with a banner die.
I cut the back frame with the 51-611 Creative Curves die from white cardstock. The paper behind is from a retired patterned paper collection, as is the card base.
To embellish, I cut 51-610 Hydrangea butterflies from yellow cardstock and heat-embossed them with clear powder for shine.

Penny Black Garden Fresh

Hello! I created a friendship/encouragement card to showcase the 30-816 Garden Fresh stamp set (with coordinating die) from the Penny Black “Delight” release.

- I stamped the 40-776 Enlightened background stamp in Dandelion ink on yellow cardstock and cut the panel to A2-size.
- I stamped, Copic-colored, and die-cut the watering can and blooms with 30-816 Garden Fresh and 51-703 Garden Fresh Cut Out.
- I stamped the 30-712 Words of Encouragement sentiment on to a Distress Oxide Ink cardstock panel.
- I cut the 51-636 Dainty Dashes Stackers panel from white cardstock, and by cutting the center with a rectangular die, I created a frame.
