Penny Black Daisy Delight

Hello! I am sharing a friendship/encouragement card created with Penny Black supplies from the newest release – “Delight” – as well as previous releases.

I stamped 40-776 Enlightened background in Dandelion ink on gold cardstock and cut the panel to A2-size.
I stamped the 30-712 Words of Encouragement sentiment on to a Distress Oxide Ink cardstock panel.
I cut 51-676 Daisy Delight and colored the blossoms and stems with Copic markers.
I cut the 51-636 Dainty Dashes Stackers panel from white cardstock, and by cutting the center with a rectangular die, I created a frame.
I added the frame and daisies (which I trimmed and adhered to the back of the frame) to the Distress Oxide Ink panel.
I embellished with a butterfly cut with one of the dies in the 51-132 Flights of Fancy set.

Penny Black Delight – Thank You Card

Hello! I am sharing a thank you card created with Penny Black supplies from the newest release – “Delight” – as well as previous releases. I was thrilled to see a cling background stamp as part of the collection, and it is with 40-776 Enlightened that I started my card design.

I stamped 40-776 Enlightened in Pear Pizzazz ink on white cardstock and cut the panel to A2-size.
I dry-embossed a strip of Calypso Coral cardstock and added it to the background.
I stamped the 30-813 Ever Thanks sentiment and cut it with a die in the 51-053 A Pocket Full set.
I embellished with a butterfly cut with one of the dies in the 51-132 Flights of Fancy set, which I heat-embossed with clear powder for added shine, and greenery cut with the 51-652 Garden Greens die set.

Penny Black CAS Thank You

Hello! I am sharing a CAS thank you card created with Penny Black supplies from the newest release – “Delight.”

I die-cut the 51-672 Grazing Fawn from white cardstock and colored the image with Copic markers. I backed the image with cardstock to which I had applied Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink.
I heat-embossed the 30-813 Ever Thanks sentiment on Paper Bag cardstock and cut the panel with a circle die.
I cut a smaller circle from white cardstock that I used to frame the Grazing Fawn. I added the kraft-colored panel over the assembly.
The card base was created from a dark green cardstock dry-embossed with a Taylored Expressions folder (“Weathered”).

Penny Black Abstract Encouragement Card

Hello! Today I am sharing a CAS encouragement card created with Penny Black supplies.

- I stamped the 30-712 Words of Encouragement sentiment on to white cardstock.
- I inked cardstock with Distress Oxide inks and cut it with the largest triangle in the 51-647 Triangles set. I used the same die to cut a frame from black cardstock.
- I cut the 51-650 Viridescent leaves from black cardstock. Using the negative shape, I traced the leaves on to cardstock inked with Distress Oxide inks. I fussy-cut those leaves and glued them to the back of the outline. I trimmed the leaf stem to fit on the bottom of the triangle.
- I added the triangle with its frame and the leaves to the stamped panel.
- I embellished with a butterfly cut with one of the dies in the #51-132 Flights of Fancy set.

Penny Black Geometric Art

Hello! Today I am sharing a CAS, geometric, thank you card created with Penny Black supplies from the newest release – “Delight.”

I added alcohol inks to a Yupo panel from which I cut the smallest equilateral triangle in the 51-647 Triangles set. The dies in the set cut a solid triangle and a thin outline triangle at the same time.
I heat-embossed a rectangular panel (slightly larger than A2-size) with a sentiment in the 30-813 Ever Thanks set in gold. I glued the triangles to the panel, trimming the overlapping pieces off the sides.
From a Brushed Gold cardstock panel, measuring 4 ¾” x 6″, I cut out an A2 rectangle to make a ¼” frame for the card.
