Penny Black Winter Window

Hello! I am sharing a holiday card that features the 51-724 Viewpoint window die combined with other Penny Black supplies. This unique die set cuts the window frame and the dimensional pieces for each pane. I particularly enjoy creating window cards.

I die-cut the window from white and gray cardstock with the 51-724 Viewpoint die, taping the dimensional pieces on the back to the white window frame.
I die-cut the Santa with the 51-560 Here Comes… set from black cardstock.
I die-cut the boughs from Sugar Coated cardstock with a die in the 51-659 Beautified Baubles set. (I added berries to the boughs, which I cut with a circle die.)
I created the lanterns with the 51-275 Winter Lantern set for embellishment.
I heat-embossed 30-257 Joy Filled in Red powder for the sentiment.
For the background, I stamped the 40-706 Snowflake Pattern on to cardstock colored with Mermaid Lagoon and Chipped Sapphire inks.

Penny Black Making Spirits Bright

Hello! Today I am sharing a CAS Christmas card created with a Penny Black stamp from the Making Spirits Bright release and a previously-released die.

I stamped the 30-864 Bright Spirits greenery and sentiment with pigment inks on white cardstock. Once dry, I trimmed the border and added the panel to a red cardstock base.

I die-cut the 51-557 Reindeer Leaps from gold foil and added it to the center with foam adhesive.

Penny Back – Snowfall and Serenity

Hello! Today I am sharing a quick-to-make Christmas card created with Penny Black supplies from the Home for Christmas release. I chose colors to coordinate with the 50-001 Pinecones and Peace panel.

For card base, stamp 30-852 Fresh Snow sentiment in brown ink on light green cardstock.
Add 50-001 Pinecones and Peace panel to card base (trimmed), with a brown cardstock panel underneath.
Add die-cut 51-708 Dancing Snowflakes with glue and 51-707 Harmony with Nature deer with foam adhesive.

Penny Black Autumn – CAS Pumpkins

Hello! Today, I am sharing a CAS card created with two Penny Black stamp sets from the Autumn 2021 release.

I stamped the 30-862 Pumpkin and Polka Dots images in a variety of ink colors and fussy-cut them.
I stamped the 30-863 Autumn is Calling sentiment in brown ink on off-white cardstock, which I cut with a stitched rectangle die.
I added the sentiment panel to a dry-embossed, rust-colored cardstock base.
I added the pumpkins to the panel, popping up the front one with foam adhesive.

Penny Black Autumn is Calling

Hello! Today I am sharing two CAS cards of the same design that use the same two Penny Black products from the Autumn 2021 release.

For both, I began by stamping the 40-788 Autumn Majesty image with white pigment ink.

Once the panels were dry, I stamped the same image again with dye inks slightly offset from the white pigment ink image. On one, I used a variety of Distress Ink colors for the acorns and leaves. On the other, I used one dye ink color (to coordinate with the cardstock color).

I stamped the 30-863 Autumn is Calling sentiment in brown ink on off-white cardstock, which I cut with a stitched rectangle die.
