Penny Black Winter View

Hello! Today I am sharing a winter-themed card created with Penny Black supplies. I previously shared a card with the 51-724 Viewpoint die set here.

Penny Black Winter View

  • I die-cut the set 51-724 Viewpoint from white and dark gray cardstock, taping the dark gray pieces to the back of the white window frame.
  • I stamped the 40-764 All Things Evergreen trees in Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness oxide inks on a white cardstock panel.
  • On the panel with the stamped trees, I applied Texture Paste through the Large Falling Snow Slimline stencil and added Rock Candy glitter. I set the glittered trees aside to dry.
  • I die-cut the 51-717 Border Collection border for a snowdrift and trimmed it to fit beneath the trees.
  • I heat-embossed the 30-257 Joy Filled sentiment in Red Geranium and cut it with a banner die.
  • Once the paste was dry, I assembled the card, adding it to a red cardstock base. I embellished with snowflakes cut with the 51-708 Dancing Snowflakes set from Sugar Coated cardstock.

Penny Black Hello Winter

Hello! Today I am sharing a winter-themed card created with Penny Black supplies. Now is when I shift from making Christmas cards to winter-themed cards for the time of year between Christmas and Valentine’s Day. (I have noticed that every year this is a struggle; I enjoy making Christmas cards as I easily connect to the colors and themes.)

Penny Black Winter Window

Hello! I am sharing a holiday card that features the 51-724 Viewpoint window die combined with other Penny Black supplies. This unique die set cuts the window frame and the dimensional pieces for each pane. I particularly enjoy creating window cards.

Penny Black Making Spirits Bright

Hello! Today I am sharing a CAS Christmas card created with a Penny Black stamp from the Making Spirits Bright release and a previously-released die.

Penny Black Making Spirits Bright

I stamped the 30-864 Bright Spirits greenery and sentiment with pigment inks on white cardstock. Once dry, I trimmed the border and added the panel to a red cardstock base.

I die-cut the 51-557 Reindeer Leaps from gold foil and added it to the center with foam adhesive.
