‘Tis the season! Today, I am sharing a slimline Christmas card created with a Penny Black sentiment set 30-868 Season To Believe from the Making Spirits Bright release paired with the new 51-718 Slimline Medley die set and other Penny Black die sets.

With the 51-718 Slimline Medley outline and detailed border dies, die-cut the card base from navy cardstock.
Heat-emboss the 30-868 Season To Believe sentiment in white.
Die-cut Santa and his team of reindeer with 51-560 Here Comes… from silver foil.
Die-cut the snowflakes from with the 51-708 Dancing Snowflakes, 51-268 A Blizzard, and 51-080 Around Town die sets from Sugar Coated cardstock.
Adhere elements to the card base.

Penny Black – Bring on the Snow

Hello! Today I am sharing a winter-themed card created with a new Penny Black sentiment set 30-852 Fresh Snow paired with additional die sets. I used the same design on a card here.

For the background, stamp 40-706 Snowflake Pattern in white ink on Taylored Expressions Earl Grey cardstock.
Heat-emboss the sentiment in silver 30-852 Fresh Snow on light blue cardstock and cut with the 51-053 A Pocket Full die. Use same die to cut vellum.
Cut penguin and snowbank with the 51-668 Festive Family die set. I used the same set on this card.
Die-cut snowflakes with the 51-708 Dancing Snowflakes set.
Add sentiment panel, vellum, penguins, snowbank, and snowflakes to card base.

Penny Black Christmas – Simple Joys of Christmas

Hello! Today I am sharing a Christmas card created with a new Penny Black sentiment set 30-849 Hearts Come Home paired with their Christmas products from past years. This sentiment aptly expresses my thoughts about Christmas!

For the background, stamp 40-706 Snowflake Pattern in white ink on Taylored Expressions Red Pepper cardstock.
Stamp 30-849 Hearts Come Home in black ink on white cardstock and cut with the 51-053 A Pocket Full die. Use same die to cut vellum.
From Noble Fir cardstock, cut boughs with 51-659 Beautiful Baubles die (four times). Adhere boughs.
Cut 51-275 Winter Lantern from Brushed Gold cardstock and red cardstock. Back gold lanterns with white cardstock. Trim red candles and apply Yellow Stickles for flames. When dry, adhere to gold lanterns.
Add sentiment, vellum, boughs, and lanterns to card base.

Penny Black Halloween Camper

Hello! Today, I am sharing a Halloween-themed card created with Penny Black die sets. The 51-645 Campers die set was released this summer and I used it on a camping-themed card here. I wanted to test-drive it (pun intended) for a different season.

Apply Distress Oxide inks to A2-size cardstock panel to create sky and horizon line.
Die-cut 51-645 Campers pieces and assemble with the inlay technique (see instructions here).
Die-cut trees from black cardstock using the 51-463 Winter Trees and 51-675 Windy sets. Die-cut 51-077 Eeek! sentiment twice for depth.
Die-cut jack-o’-lantern with the 51-654 Carved Cuties set.
Die-cut smaller pumpkins with the 51-360 Pumpkins & Leaves set.
Die-cut yellow moon with a circle die.
Adhere elements to card base.

Penny Black – Fall Bouquet

Hello! As I patiently wait for products from the new Penny Black Autumn 2021 release, I am sharing a fall-themed card created with previously-released Penny Black supplies.

Die-cut 51-611 Creative Curves from white cardstock. Adhere light-blue cardstock to back. Add panel to Simple Stories patterned paper card base.
Stamp 30-794 Hedgehugs sentiment and cut with tag die.
Adhere double-sided adhesive to vellum and cut with 51-142 Mason Jar die.
Apply Distress ink to outside to simulate water.
Die-cut 51-653 Autumn Decor (blooms and foliage) from cardstock colored with Distress Oxide inks. Assemble.
Arrange blooms on card background, peel adhesive from back of 51-142 Mason Jar, and adhere to blooms, being sure that the top of the jar is loose. Attach sentiment tag to twine and tie around the top of the jar.
Add Silver Mix Gems.
