Reverse Confetti – CAS Friendship Card

Hello and happy March! I am sharing a CAS friendship card with an uplifting message created with the Reverse Confetti Fresh ‘n Fruity stamp set (with coordinating dies). I’ve owned this set for years and have never used it. (I’m currently working through my never-been-used supplies.) This set made me realize how much I like solid image stamps!

I used bright colors to reinforce the card’s message. I stamped the lemons with SU Daffodil Delight and Memento Dandelion ink (the Dandelion is just a little lighter) and the leaves with SU Cucumber Crush ink.

I used Echo Park patterned paper to create a ground on which to place the lemons. I used the SU Subtle embossing folder for the card base.

Reverse Confetti – CAS One-Layer Halloween card

Hello! I love Halloween and with fall in the air here in the PNW, I am happily preparing for the event (getting out my various Halloween-themed crafting supplies). I pulled out two Revere Confetti stamp sets to create a CAS one-layer Halloween card.

The sentiment is from the Spooky Sentiments set and the witch’s boots are from the Spooky Cuties set (both are now retired). I stamped the boots with Hero Arts black dye ink and the sentiment with Stampin’ Up Pumpkin Pie ink. Without a stamp positioner, I would never have been able to make this card!

I’m playing along with ColourQ #351 with a CAS card:

The challenge colors initially had me stumped, but the inspiration photo brought to mind the Reverse Confetti “Peacock Pretties” stamp set. I decided on equal ratios of the purple, aqua and navy with the gold as the accent.

I stamped and heat-embossed the feather image from “Peacock Pretties” on cardstock, which I then cut with a banner die so that they would be the same size. The sentiment stamped in black is from the same set.

Shore Do Love You!

Today, I’m sharing a “just because” nautical card!

Shore Do Love You

The buoy is cut with the CottageCutz Life Preserver Die. This is a “new to me” company which has a number of nautical-themed dies. They provide quite a bit of detail (for example, while you can’t see it, the rope is textured). I stamped the background with the My Favorite Things Wood Plank Background (you can never have too many wood-textured backgrounds!) and then cut it with one of the Lawn Fawn dies.  I used a die in the My Favorite Things Die-namics Blueprints 20 set to cut the heat-embossed sentiment (Reverse Confetti Happy Harbor). I’m on the hunt for more nautical sentiment sets (I have many more nautical dies than nautical sentiments).

Supplies: CottageCutz Life Preserver die, Reverse Confetti Happy Harbor stamp set (retired)

Reverse Confetti December SFYTT

Have you seen this month’s Sketch for You to Try at Reverse Confetti?

I created a holiday card using the sketch as my starting point.

I cut one of the words from the Winter Words Confetti Cuts set out of gold foil paper and attached it to the circle cut from patterned paper. I heat-embossed one of the sentiments from the Winter Words Coordinates set onto the red rectangle. I embellished the card with leaves and berries cut with the Holly Confetti Cuts set.

I hope you’ll play along! Head on over to link up your card on the Reverse Confetti Blog for your chance to win a $20 Reverse Confetti gift certificate and the title of ‘Fetti Fave!
