Spellbinders | Charming Halloween Card

Hello! Today, I’m sharing a playful Halloween card created with the Small Die of the Month for September from Spellbinders. A black cat peeks out from a pumpkin while friendly ghosts float nearby, surrounded by colorful flowers. This combination of classic Halloween icons with soft floral details makes for a card that’s charming and spooky.

- Dry-emboss Waterfall cardstock with the Tiny Dots folder and add to an A2-size card base.
- Cut Bristol paper with the Small Die set and color with Distress Oxide inks. Assemble.
- Stamp and cut the sentiment with the September Stamp & Die of the Month.
- Add assembled items to prepared card base with glue and foam adhesive.

Hello! Today I’m sharing a card that takes us on an underwater adventure, made with the August 2025 Small Die of the Month set from Spellbinders. I built a lively ocean scene complete with two divers, colorful fish, and flowing underwater plants. The sentiment “You Brighten My Day” adds a cheerful touch, making this card perfect for sending a little sunshine to someone special. The details in this die set make the scene come to life—it was such a joy to put together!

- Create an A2-size card base from white cardstock.
- With the two largest dies in the Essential Stylish Ovals set, cut a vellum oval and a Teal Topaz oval. Adhere to card base.
- Cut Small Die elements from a variety of cardstock colors. Assemble.
- Press sentiment and cut with coordinating die.
- Add elements to card base with glue and foam adhesive.

Spellbinders | Whimsical Nautical Card

Hello! If you’re craving a bit of whimsy and salt air, today’s card delivers both with a playful nautical scene. Created with the Spellbinders “Shipmates” die set – the June 2025 Small Die of the Month offering – the card stars a walrus and a seagull in a charming, storybook-like style. Spellbinders | Relax & Enjoy

Hello! The Fairways & Fish Tales kit (the March 2025 Small Die Kit Club offering) from Spellbinders is full of creative possibilities, whether you’re crafting for a golf enthusiast or someone who loves a quiet day on the water. For this card, I focused on the fishing elements, creating a serene scene with a single fisherman and the sentiment “Relax, and enjoy!” A new color palette gives it a totally different feel from my previous card, proving the versatility of this kit.

- Create an A2-size card base.
- Cut Fairways & Fish Tales elements from a variety of cardstock colors. Assemble as necessary. Add assembled elements to the prepared card base, using foam squares to pop up elements
- Stamp the Fair Winds sentiment in navy ink. I cut the sentiment with a cloud die that was included in the June 2024 DOML set “Summer Vacay,” which is no longer available. (The Fair Winds set includes dies to cut the sentiments and the coordinating die could be used to cut the sentiment.) Add the stamped sentiment to the card base.

Spellbinders | Congrats, Grad!

Hello! Send your congratulations with a handmade graduation card that’s as smart and spirited as the grad! Using the Spellbinders “Classroom Chronicles” die set, which is the May 2025 Small Die offering, I created a cheerful apple character in a graduation cap, seated on a stack of books labeled “Congrats,” “Student,” and “Wisdom.” Patterned paper adds to the schoolhouse charm, and I personalized the design with die-cut letters from the Large Die offering to spell out “Henry.” Whether for a preschool promotion or a college send-off, this fun design works for grads of all ages!

- To begin, cover an A2-size base with patterned paper that has been attached to vellum with double-sided adhesive to quiet the pattern.
- With the Small Die of the Month set, cut the apple, accessories, and books from solid cardstock. Assemble and add to the card front.
- With the Large Die of the Month set, cut the letters from black glitter foam. Glue to the card front.
