Paper Smooches Mason Jar Bouquet

Hello! Today I am sharing a Mason Jar bouquet created with a combination of Paper Smooches products. I recently purchased the Mason Jar die set; it has been on my list for a long time!

Paper Smooches Mason Jar Bouquet

Here are the steps I took when I made this card, along with commentary:

  • I stamped the Botanical stems/floral sprays in Fizz and Aquamarine on patterned paper. I’m a big fan of orange and teal together.
  • I cut and assembled the Mason Jar. I’m all in on die cuts of any kind!
  • I stamped the sentiment in VersaFine black in on patterned paper and adhered the patterned paper pieces together. I really like the orange and white gingham paper.
  • I adhered the Mason Jar over the stamped floral pieces.
  • I die-cut flowers with the Flowers and Flowers 2 die sets from patterned paper. I added a white drop to their centers. The drop helped the flowers stand out.
  • When the flowers were dry, I attached them to the stamped stems/floral sprays with foam adhesive. Without the dimension from the foam adhesive, these flowers just blended into the stems/floral sprays.
  • I adhered a twine bow to the Mason Jar. This card needed texture and the twine gave it the right touch.

Spellbinders + FSJ – Die-cut Window Scene

Hello! Today I am sharing a spring-themed window scene on which I have used Spellbinders and Fun Stampers Journey products. I’ve also included details about a huge Online Warehouse Sale for the two companies at the end of my post. Let’s take a look at the card!

Spellbinders FSJ - Die-cut Window Scene

  • I used the Fun Stampers Journey Window View die to cut the window pieces.
  • I  dry-embossed yellow cardstock (SU So Saffron) with the FSJ Bright Days embossing folder and attached it behind the window. The embossing folder depicts the sun and its rays. I placed the sun portion in the lower right-hand corner.
  • I attached the window assembly to a Sea Glass card base.
  • I cut the birds and foliage with the A Little Birdie die set (SU Flirty Falmingo, SU Calypso Coral, SU Granny Apple Green, Neenah white) and added them to the front of the window.
  • I added yellow enamel dots to the white flowers.
  • I heat-embossed the Every Moment sentiment on SU Bermuda Bay and cut it with a circle die.

Some Bunny Loves You – Die-cut Easter Card

Hello! I couldn’t resist playing again with the Spring Animals die set to create another Easter card. (You can see my first card using the set here.)

Some Bunny Loves You - Die-cut Easter Card

    • I created the sentiment on my computer and printed it on the Bazzill card stock.
    • I used a 4″ x 5 1/4″ die from a now-retired MFT Blueprints set to cut the sentiment panel.
    • I cut and assembled the bunnies and cut the eggs from SU Pineapple Punch, SU Melon Mambo, and SU Gorgeous Grape. I used the Picture Book Love Bear die to cut the heart from SU Poppy Parade.
    • After assembling the bunnies, I added them to the lavender panel with foam adhesive.
    • I dry-embossed the white card base with the SU Subtle embossing folder for a linen-like texture.

Die-cut Easter Greetings

Hello! Today I am sharing an Easter card featuring Karen Burniston’s Spring Animals. I’ve followed Karen over the years and was excited to add these dies to my collection. She has a number of other cute critters that I’m considering.

Die-cut Easter Greetings

  • I cut the Spring Animals pieces and assembled them (SU Daffodil Delight for the chick). The eyes and nose (on the bunny) were added with a pen by using the die as a stencil. This makes it easy to add those small details.
  • I used the Taylored Expressions Picket Fence Border and Cloud Duo dies to create the scene on which I placed the assembled animals.
  • I heat-embossed an older Reverse Confetti sentiment (Carton Cuties set) on a SU Cucumber Crush cardstock panel and added it to the rectangle cut from Taylored Expressions Sprinkles.
  • The light-pink card base was dry-embossed with the Taylored Expressions Flower Power embossing folder.

Where’s Spring?

Hello! Today, I am sharing a spring-themed card featuring the Festive Birds die set from Creative Expressions (I bought my set of dies from 123Stitch). I say spring, but since the birds are wearing winter scarves, it’s also winter-themed! Punxsutawney Phil predicted an early spring, and yet it’s been anything but spring here in the PNW. (I do realize that Phil is statistically often wrong in these matters!) Despite colder temperatures, the birds have returned and are chirping away in the morning. I don’t know how they stay warm!

Where's Spring?

I die-cut the pieces from a variety of cardstock colors, listed below. I created the sentiment on my computer and printed it on Stampin’ Up Pool Party. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I have recently reorganized my cardstock by color and it is so much easier to choose colors!
