Spellbinders | Snowmen at the North Pole

Hello! Today I’m sharing a festive holiday card featuring two cheerful snowmen gathered at the North Pole created with Spellbinders dies, from the playful snowmen to the sentiments placed right on the pole. Snowy patterned paper background sets the wintry mood, and the arch shape helps frame the scene.

Spellbinders | Snowmen at the North Pole

    • Cover an A2-size card base with patterned paper. I used the colors in the patterned paper pad for color choices on the card.
    • Cut an arch with snowy patterned paper from the same pad. Add to the prepared base.
    • Cut Classic White cardstock with the same arch die and then with the hill die in the Landscape Edges set. Add the snowbank to the prepared base with foam adhesive.
    • Cut the pole, signs, and snowmen with dies in the North Pole Sentiments set. Assemble.
    • Add assembled elements to the prepared base with foam squares and glue.

Spellbinders | Santa Mug

Nothing says Christmas quite like Santa himself, and this handmade card brings him to life in the most festive way—a Santa-shaped mug created with the Cocoa Greetings die set (Spellbinders July 2025 Die of the Month kit). A Christmas-themed patterned paper background and a seasonal sentiment complete the design.

Spellbinders | City Holiday Collection

Hello! Today, I’m sharing a festive Christmas card created with Yana Smakula’s City Holiday Collection for Spellbinders. My inspiration began with one of the Spellbinders Holiday Color Deck cards. You can read more about the cards HERE. I used the same illustration and palette as on the barn card HERE. With those colors as my guide, I created a charming apartment dressed for the holidays and finished the scene with a hot-foiled BetterPress sentiment for an elegant touch.

    • Dry-emboss a 5″ x 7″ Raven cardstock panel with the Sparkling Snow folder. Add to a card base.
    • Cut the City Holiday building and snowbank from a variety of cardstock colors and assemble.
    • Hot foil in gold the Christmas Cheer sentiment and cut with the coordinating die. I cut foam with the same die and glued to the back for stability and depth.
    • Adhere the building, snowbank, and sentiment to the prepared base using glue and foam squares.

Hero Arts | Candy Cane Magic

Hello! I’m back with another holiday card featuring the new Candy Cane Collection from Hero Arts. This time, I used Distress Oxide to ink the solid candy cane shapes, then added snowfall paste through the striped stencil and sprinkled on dry glitter for extra holiday sparkle. It’s a fun and festive way to bring texture to a clean and simple card design. You can see my first designs with these products HERE.

Hero Arts | Candy Cane Magic

    • Apply Distress Oxide inks through one of the stencils in the Toss Up set on to white cardstock.
    • Add Snowfall Grit paste through another stencil in the set and sprinkle with Dry Glitter. Set the panel aside to dry.
    • Once dry, add to a Tutu cardstock panel and add the assembly to a brushed silver card base. I created a custom size base to accommodate the design.
    • Stamp the Candy Cane Swag sentiment with silver ink on white cardstock. Cut with the coordinating die and add to the card base with foam adhesive.

Spellbinders | Santa and Mrs. Claus

Hello! I had so much fun creating another holiday card with The Clauses die set at Spellbinders—this time featuring both Santa and Mrs. Claus hard at work at the North Pole! This duo brings charm and teamwork to the season. You can see my first card with the die set HERE.

Spellbinders | Santa and Mrs. Claus

    • To begin, cover card base with dark green cardstock. Cut a panel of patterned paper (Santa’s Village Collection) and add to the base.
    • Cut Mrs. Claus and Santa from a variety of cardstock colors and textures.  Assemble and add to prepared base with foam squares.
    • Press the Merry and Bright sentiment on Classic White cardstock and cut with the coordinating die. Adhere to the base.
    • Mrs. Claus may not get top billing, but the holidays wouldn’t happen without her!
